I had a lovely stay at the castle house luxury B n B everything was grea lovely breakfast the staff were very helpful couldnt do enough for you and nigel the owner was a really nice man had a few chat im sure ill be back on day thanks garry walker from middlesbrough.

Had a lovely time in Richmond, first time at Castle house, and on the whole really enjoyed it. Lovely quirky period house, welcoming host Nigel. Very clean and spacious room, nice and quiet. Slept quite well, although the bed was quite firm it was cosy and warm. Very nice and modern bathroom, unfortunately the beautiful rolled topped bath was a bit too deep for us two oldies and really struggled to get out ! The breakfast was nice with good portions although the scrambled egg wasn’t cooked enough and was raw at the bottom. Parking was a bit off a faff having to keep an eye on the disc restrictions but that’s out of control for the proprietors. Overall we enjoyed it and would definitely return.

Great breakfast, good comfortable bed and brilliant location. The only downside was our car not being near enough for us. However it was perfectly safe so all was well.

Very nice welcome with complimentary drinks. The room and bathroom were very nice and comfortable. Breakfast was really tasty and very good quality. The only downside was the lack of WiFi which was advertised.

Good location and communication from the owner Nigel. Managed to park outside the property (which was great due to the bad weather!) Room perfectly adequately for our needs, loved the log fire and nice deep hot bubbly bath in the room. Breakfast was very good and staff friendly and attentive. Overall, a nice little place to stay.

Good location, easy parking midweek, lovely welcome and drink allowed us early check in which was a bonus. Lovely 4 poster bed and very comfy and warming. No noise. Breakfast was lovely - ordered the day before and was piping hot! All in all good value for money and would stay again.

The location is right by the square, the atmosphere is inviting and friendly. Nicely appointed with table cloths, pressed clean linen napkins, and great food. You are welcomed with a complementary drink in the sitting room. They offer to do your laundry and a pack lunch. The rooms are fresh, great bed linens (warm when need) and modern bathroom. Quaint and yet luxurious. All 5 stars for me! I’m walking the Coast to Coast trail so the little extras the host offered were really appreciated. Thank you!
