Agreed a time for an evening meal then find the Mgt havent even finished their meal so we were told to wait. When we were shown to our table we waited for over 25mins but no one came to even ask if we wanted a drink!, so we got up and left. Shocking service from the Mgr and his staff

As requested during your booking, an iron and ironing board were placed in your room prior to your arrival. We strive to anticipate our guests' needs and ensure their comfort. Regarding your dinner reservation, we simply offered the option to reserve a table in advance, as we expected high attendance that evening. There was no obligation, but it allows us to better organize and prioritize our service for all our guests. When you arrived at the restaurant, our team was handling a high volume of guests, particularly on the terrace. Only one staff member was on duty at that time, as breaks are necessary and legally required for our employees. Despite this, we always aim to provide attentive and quality service. We regret that the wait of approximately 15 minutes (not 25) was too long for you and apologize if this affected your experience. We are a small team serving homemade dishes and drinks, which may sometimes require a little more preparation time. We appreciate your understanding and patience in these moments. You also mentioned our breakfast in the Logis survey and left a comment on *******. While we’re sorry the breakfast did not fully meet your expectations, we would have appreciated the opportunity to discuss your feedback in person during your stay or at check-out. We were made very welcome on arrival and shown to our room promptly. We then had dinner in the restaurant which was excellent The staff were all extremely helpful and charming. I had an issue with the electric car charger and the duty manager rang the company and sorted this for me. We stayed two nights in a superior room which was large and very well appointed. Both dinner and breakfast were well presented and extremely good. We have already booked another stay in this little gem of a hotel

Our room was quite small and up on the top level in the rafters. However it was very quiet and comfortable. The food was very good for both dinner and breakfast. Location is excellent looking across the square with a fountain in the middle, surrounding streets werrebvery historic.

Would definitely recommend. The staff were incredibly friendly and helpful, the accomodation was simple but clean and comfortable, and it's located in a beautiful town square in an interesting old walled town

An historic hotel right in the market square with free parking outside. The restaurant serves locally sourced produce with a menu that made choosing rather difficult! A breakfast buffet, with hot and cold options, was one of the best we have had, with everything down to fruits, seeds and choice of breads, cheese and ham. The best bit, the welcome from the host who, thankfully, speaks English and saved us from totally mashing the French language! If you have an EV there is a fast charger in the square (fee) and two free trickle chargers ideal for those with hybrids. At the time of our visit, the fast charger was waiting repair so don't bank on it. We would definitely stay again if in the area - thanks team!

You will not be disappointed with this excellent (and consistently so) hotel. I have stayed many times and always enjoyed it. The hotel could not be more central to the town and very handy for the marvellous park.

We had a lovely stay in Richelieu in the Airbnb attached to the hotel. Olivier so welcoming and helpful. Thank you. Now back and having a great meal with family at the hotel. Food delicious, great service and fully recommend.

Great stop for someone with dogs, or just wanting a quiet time in beautiful surroundings. A walk around the town is well worth it and on Friday there is a market in the square worth seeing. Good food in the hotel

The room was very nice and the staff made the stay extra good. They helped us with amenities in the area, a French language lesson recommendation. Overall they were very friendly and accomodating. We ate dinner and breakfast at the hotel and it was excellent.

Many visits to the Puits over many years. And there will be many more I’m sure. The meal in particular last night was quite exceptional. Always friendly service and pleasant clean room overlooking the square.

Very welcoming arrival and settled in our room that overlooked the square. We then had a great meal on the terrace next to the square. The service was prompt and efficient and the food was delightful. We went to bed oozing contentment and bonhomie. A great stay.

Great staff and hotel. Comfortable and large bed, spacious room. Restaurant was fine, but main courses were a little underwhelming. Plenty to do and see in the town although the museum was closed whilst we were there. I would stay at this hotel again.

Si vous aimez le rustique pas de soucis mais le confort ne doit pas être rustique ; séjour particulièrement très ensoleillé mais pas de climatisation dans la chambre sous les toits (hôtel 3 étoiles !) ; un lit avec couette trop chaude pour l'été et pas de drap ; pas de bouteille d'eau fraîche dans la chambre pour notre arrivée ni proposée à l'accueil ; pas de tenture (réveil à 6 h du matin avec le soleil) ;

Très bien accueillis. Cadre très sympa. Terrasse agréable. Chambre petite non dotée de rideaux. Non doté de clim. Impossibilité d'aérer vue sur logement vis à vis.!!! en cette période de canicule. Petit déjeuner très complet.
