Super 8 by Wyndham Richardson Dallas

Location: Proximity to highways, train stations, and bus stops is frequently praised for convenience, especially for travelers.

I chose this hotel as it was close to friends. The room I got was on the ground floor of the building and large.It had a sofa bed and a large double bed which was very comforable. It had a microwave and coffee machine .The downside was that the basin in the bathroom area had no door so I had to close the curtains for privacy. The windows could do with net cutains as well as ordinary curtains as it was on the ground floor to give a bit of privacy to the room.I had to close the curtains and put the light on every time i wanted to get changed .The bath and toilet had a door. I had the use of air con but didnt need it. There was WIfI in the room. There were laundry facilities on the premises but i didnt need to use them. Breakfast was free but limited to cereal, toast, waffles and a coffee machine but i brought my own tea bags and there was hot water avaliable.The reception staff were very helpful.I couldnt log onto the TV so one of them helped me, also refilled the breakfast items.when i asked. The small pool had just opened when i stayed but i didnt have time to use it. I would stay here again whenever i visit my friends again. It was a basic hotel but the bed was very comfortable, breakfast was ok for me and staff helpful.There is a Dollar Central store across the road to buy drinks, snacks etec and a couple of restaurants

Disappointed in Wyndham It was our own fault to take a smoking suite for the extra room.It smelled like an old ashtray even after 2 cans of air freshener. The breakfast was a joke...5 premade waffles in a plastic case with 5pieces of bread along side 2 containers of cereal. No fruit,no yogurt no bagels or any of the other breakfast items most motels offer.We were at breakfast 7am..The next morning it was obvious the breakfast had not been replenished.We brought our own coffee maker,none in the room,no phone either.The beds were comfortable and I did like the shower even though it needed "anti slip" additives to the floor of the tub.Won't be returning.
