Hotel near Waikiki,Honolulu
About Hilton Hawaiian Village Waikiki Beach Resort Hilton Hawaiian Village Waikiki Beach Resort is Waikiki's destination resort, offering an exceptional blend of premium accommodations and classic island hospitality along Waikiki's widest stretch of beach. Spanning 22 oceanfront acres in the heart of Honolulu, the resort features 2,886 guest rooms and suites across five distinctive towers. Rainbow Tower, a beloved Waikiki icon, showcases its vibrant mural and sweeping views of Diamond Head Crater. Guests seeking exclusivity can choose The Alii, a curated, elevated stay experience offering dedicated check-in, concierge access, and exclusive amenities including a private pool terrace, bar, and fitness center. The resort features five swimming pools, including Waikiki's largest pool and its longest waterslide. More than 80 shops and services, from boutiques to a post office and business center, create a self-contained village experience. With 18 restaurants and bars, guests can explore global flavors without ever leaving the property. Bali Oceanfront offers award-winning cuisine and impeccable service, earning top ratings, all paired with front-row sunrise and sunset views over Waikiki Beach. Nearby, Tropics Bar & Grill remains a favorite for its relaxed, beachfront setting and casual island-style fare. The Waikiki Starlight Luau invites guests on a journey across the Pacific through music, dance, and a vibrant outdoor dinner show. At Mandara Spa, Hawaiian healing traditions blend with Asian, European, and Polynesian wellness practices for a deeply restorative experience. Guests can enjoy a wide range of cultural activities, from hula lessons to lei making, or head to Duke Kahanamoku Lagoon and Beach for standup paddling, kayaking, surfing, and other ocean adventures. Every Friday evening, the resorts beachfront becomes the stage for one of Waikikis most iconic traditions, its spectacular fireworks show.

"The Rainbow Tower is quite new and the rooms are decent, but the elevators are incredibly slow. With over 1000 rooms sharing just 5 elevators, you're looking at nearly a ten-minute wait every time. I'd advise against booking an ocean view room because you won't really see much ocean; it's mostly lagoon. For a true ocean view, you'd need to book an 'oceanfront view,' and even then, it depends on the front desk's mood – they might give you a low floor where you still can't see anything. My room was on a very low floor with virtually no view, plus there was construction going on downstairs, which was very noisy. The hotel's location is a bit out of the way for Waikiki; it's over a 15-minute walk to the main area. However, it's only a 15-minute walk to Ala Moana Shopping Center. Also, if beach quality is important to you, don't stay here. The beach is full of coral fragments, which hurt your feet, and the water is murky. The towel counter closes at 6 PM, so there's nowhere to return towels after that. Additionally, they don't offer complimentary beach chairs or bodyboards, unlike Marriott where they're free. Overall, it's not really worth the price."

"The room is old, but well maintained. If you are a fan of White Lotus, you will feel it as soon as you arrive at the hotel. Pros: The room is well maintained, the green facilities downstairs are good, and the overall living experience is good; Cons: There is no private beach, the privacy is average, and the beach is shared with several hotels; the staff are not very enthusiastic;"

"The room was a bit small, about 30 square meters, but perfectly adequate for two adults and one child, especially since we spent most of our time outdoors anyway and only came back to the hotel to shower and sleep. The hotel's location is excellent – it's very close to the Hilton beach. If you head right out of the hotel and cross the traffic light, there's a 7-Eleven where you can buy a bus pass and snacks. Keep an eye out just before you reach the 7-Eleven intersection, as there's a small food truck market there with delicious and affordable food. P.S. There's an airport shuttle bus that pretty much drops you off right at the hotel entrance. However, if you're looking for the shuttle right after you land, it's a bit of a walk from the terminal. We actually tried out the airport bus route specifically when we were leaving, and it took about forty minutes."

Rooms offer a variety of views, selection of bedding types, and the conveniences of a full service hotel and the comforts of home.

"The hotel is nice for the price of low $223 but they charge $45 per day of activity fees but I never used. The location is about 10 minutes walk from the central Waikiki area but is OK. The breakfast buffet is good and includes in the room package. The only problem is that they only have valet parking for $60 per day. It took them 45 minutes in the morning to get my car down on day 1 and we missed the tour. The other days were 10 to 15 minutes. I guess they don’t have enough parking so they have to double park and triple park. I tried to park at the adjacent Banyan lot but all full after 8pm. There are no other viable option other than valet parking in the hotel."

"Location: Easily accessible by bus from the airport, and the walking distance from the bus stop to the hotel is manageable. It's quite close to the Hilton Hawaiian Village, making it convenient to catch the Friday night fireworks. While not directly on Waikiki Beach, it's still within walking distance. You can walk to the Royal Hawaiian Center for some shopping, and then it's a short stroll to Waikiki Beach. Service: You can get complimentary cookies every day, which is a nice touch! They also helped me mail postcards. The staff who handled luggage storage were very polite and even helped me load my bags into my car when I checked out. Facilities: There's a capsule coffee machine, so you can enjoy Hawaiian coffee daily. Other facilities were also perfectly fine and contributed to a good experience. Environment: The view from the balcony was decent – not a full ocean view, but you could still see the sea in the distance. It essentially overlooks the Hilton Hawaiian Village's coastline. The DoubleTree itself has a gym and a simple rooftop pool, which were both adequate for my needs."

Hotel near Waikiki,Honolulu
Embassy Suites by Hilton Waikiki Beach Walk offers exceptional value in the heart of Waikiki's vibrant dining, entertainment, and shopping district at Waikiki Beach Walk. Enjoy spacious one-bedroom and two-bedroom suites, each featuring a separate living room, dining table for two, wet bar, compact refrigerator, microwave, and coffee maker. Daily Resort Charge, which includes WiFi, sunrise yoga and cultural activities, beach towels, pool toys, a tea kettle, and discounts on cabana and daybed rentals, dining, and access to PressReader.

"This was a wonderful hotel! I think it offers great value for money. First off, the room was a two-room suite with a separate living room and bedroom. The two double beds were spacious and comfortable. The mini-kitchen had a sink, kettle, microwave, and refrigerator. The bathroom had a standard American-style shower and a shallow bathtub. Toothbrushes were not provided. The breakfast menu didn't change much day-to-day, but the custom-made omelets were delicious. It can get a bit crowded around 9 AM on weekends, but it's manageable. During happy hour in the evening, guests received two complimentary alcoholic drinks per person per day. Two of the cocktails could also be made non-alcoholic. In addition, there was a free drink bar and snacks (crackers and vegetables like cucumbers and celery), which were perfect for a light bite. We were also allowed to bring our own food, so we often enjoyed takeout from nearby while sipping our happy hour drinks. The happy hour and breakfast venue is the same, located poolside. This would be great for families with children, as they can enjoy the pool while taking advantage of happy hour. They also provide beach towels by the poolside for guests heading to the beach or pool. Incidentally, we arrived at the hotel before noon this time, having taken an ANA flight. We were able to check in early without an early check-in fee! (Perhaps because it was off-peak season?) This was incredibly helpful as we were sleep-deprived. Waikiki Beach is about a 5-minute walk through the Sheraton. It felt a bit confusing to find at first, but once we got used to it, it was no problem. The nearest W LINE bus stop is just over a 5-minute walk away. It's a minor detail but wasn't an issue. Right in front of the hotel is an ABC STORE DELI, which operates from 6:30 AM to 11:00 PM and also serves fast food, making it very convenient. Although our room wasn't ocean view, we could see the ocean from the outdoor stairwells on each floor, which was lovely. Ultimately, since we spent most of our time in the hotel either sleeping or at night, I don't think an ocean view was essential, haha. The balcony was nice for getting some fresh air. There's a water dispenser on the first floor, which is convenient for refilling water anytime. Each floor also has an ice dispenser and vending machines. If I had to pick a con, it would be that the elevators sometimes took a while to arrive. I highly recommend this hotel for families due to the spacious rooms! The value for money was excellent, so I encourage you to stay here."

"We were given Room 08 in the Ewa building, and the balcony view was exactly as pictured. Even though we were on a high floor, we could still faintly hear the lively party music at night, but it didn't bother our sleep. I'm not sure if it would be an issue for lower floors. Getting to the beach was super convenient – just cross the street, turn right, and you're there. The waves on this part of the beach are very gentle and consistent, so I'd recommend renting a board and heading out. The hotel providing beach towels and chairs was a nice touch and very convenient. The room itself was quite spacious, and while it felt a bit dated, the restroom and bathroom had been renovated with updated fixtures, including a Japanese toilet. The only downside is that the bathroom space felt a bit cramped."

Hotel near Waikiki,Honolulu
At Waikiki Beach Marriott Resort & Spa, you're perfectly positioned between the pulse of local culture and the laid-back luxury of island life. Our beachfront hotel in Waikiki, Honolulu is home to the Queensbreak Pool & Cabana Deck, a rooftop oasis with sweeping views of Waikiki’s legendary surf breaks, vibrant live music, and unforgettable day-to-night experiences. Guests can also immerse themselves in the spirit of aloha at our signature Paina Waikiki Luau, where the stories of Hawaii come alive through mesmerizing hula, mele, and Polynesian artistry. Whether you're exploring nearby icons like Diamond Head and the Honolulu Zoo, indulging in locally inspired cuisine, or simply relaxing in our beautifully transformed rooms, our Waikiki resort and spa is your home in the middle of it all.

"This Marriott really exceeded my expectations. I honestly didn't have high hopes since it was a bit cheaper, but I was pleasantly surprised! First, a couple of minor downsides: the room was a little small, and the mini-fridge was quite noisy; I had to unplug it to get some sleep. Everything else was great, though. The hotel is currently undergoing renovations, so the balconies weren't accessible, but they waived the resort fee, which was a significant saving. They have a self-service towel dispenser, which is very convenient. Plus, they offer complimentary beach chairs and bodyboards, which is a fantastic perk. The location is also excellent; you can walk to the malls and restaurants in the heart of Waikiki within 10 minutes. And the beach view right downstairs is absolutely stunning. Overall, this Marriott is much better than the Hilton Village!"
