"Solea is a very large resort with plenty of activities and amenities to enjoy. It features eight swimming pools, giving guests lots of options to relax, as well as two restaurants and a rooftop bar where you can enjoy meals and drinks throughout your stay. Because of the resort's size and popularity, you can expect it to get quite busy. Check-in and check-out lines can take some time, and it would be great if they could add another reception counter to better accommodate peak hours. The same goes for the breakfast buffet, especially on weekends, where queues can become quite long. On a positive note, the staff are friendly, accommodating, and always willing to help. The rooms are spacious, with plenty of room for luggage, and each room includes a balcony, which is a nice spot to enjoy a morning coffee or unwind with a drink in the evening. Overall, Solea is a great destination for families, groups, or anyone looking for a resort with a wide range of facilities and activities. Just be prepared for longer wait times during peak periods due to the high volume of guests."

"About the room: Price is around 2,200Pesos (40 USD) per night for 2 people. They dont provide hair dryer, slippers in rooms. There're only 2 towels, no mat for CR. Air-con is Philippine traditional style which means it's somehow noisy but acceptable. The utilities in toilet are poor. Luckily they still have hot water even though the shower head is not functioning well. They let us check in early (11am) because there's available room. The best thing about this resort is the view. It's stunning and adorable. I enjoy taking a rest here. Food in restaurant is also quite affordable. The location is not far from the Consuelo port, but it costs 300peso (5USD) to ride a tricycle 1 way (hotel to port)."

"Many staff members are fluent in Japanese, which is a plus. The hotel has a tropical vibe, and the atmosphere is lovely. There were a few shortcomings: no slippers in the room, I forgot my toothbrush, and I wasn't given the beach towel exchange card during check-in, which I was supposed to receive. However, when I contacted them, they addressed these issues. I didn't opt for breakfast, but it seems to be well-known as one of the best among the surrounding hotels."

"There are three pools. The beach has boats docked for island hopping, and The Cove restaurant is located offshore. On Fridays, starting around 7 PM, there's a fire show at the beachfront restaurant, with a photo opportunity at the end. For birthdays, several staff members will serenade you with songs and dances. I witnessed this surprise three times during my stay at breakfast, dinner, and by the poolside, and the recipients absolutely loved it. There was also a local gathering held on the beach. The breakfast menu varies and is delicious. Outside the hotel, it's a local road, and there's a supermarket about a 5-minute walk away."

"I love this place because it is a big property with many different parts and things to do. There really many pools, an aqua park, an inflatable island on a large pool, a game room, a bar, a restaurant, a souvenir shop (that also sells basic medicines and toiletry needs), bathrooms, a garden, the beach front. If you are a family with children of different ages and even if you have grandparents in tow, this would be perfect. They’re not stingy with lounge chairs either and in one pool, you can play volleyball. Their rooms are good sized and comes with a small ref, hair dryer, a carafe and free tea and coffee. Their breakfast buffet is awesome with sooo many food and drinks to choose from. There is a BDO cash machine and their staff are very helpful and polite. Grab food are not allowed to deliver at the lobby, they can only make it to the gate of the property and while it is not far to walk there, you can ask for free shuttle to bring you to the gate to claim your order and then back to the lobby. They also take credit cards and water stations on each floor where you can refill your water bottles. There are 2 large water bottles in each room. I think the one issue I have is - I perceived this resort to be family friendly because of the many kinds of activities for different ages but our rooms came with bathrooms that has glass wall where a person outside the bathroom can pull up the blinds. I mean, why? When I booked the rooms, it didn’t mention that the bathroom would be like that. I wish they would provide a distinction during booking so that people who don’t want bathrooms to be like that can avoid it."

"We are a local mssionary couple who lives locally. We came here to rest and recharge after many weeks of hard work. I am a full-time college student, so part of the reason for our stay was to catch up on work. This was PERFECT for us. My wife and I both relaxed in the infinity pool and enjoyed the quite. The hotel was not busy and it was so quiet, perfect for relaxing and doing homework at the pool or in the cafe. The only downside for us was the wifi reception. While we recognize this is the philippines and service can be touchy the wifi often have trouble reaching our room… The staff was quick to attempt to help us and reset the wifi which helped but sometimes we would just have no wifi for a time. I give them 5 stars for how attentive they are. Pool- 5/5 Beach-2/5 (good for snorkling in the day. But no sand to relax on.) Food- 4/5 (some food was great others not so much, not to pricey for tourist spot). Service- 5/5 Very kind and helpful staff. Room 3/5- I expected a nicer room for the pictures and look of the place but not terrible. Also had to walk far from pool to room but could request a shuttle at reception desk. "Cuestas Beach Resort was a welcome location, straight off the Ceres bus from Cebu.  A patch of paradise 🌺 The staff are ever so lovely, especially the receptionist Ginky.  All of the staff were more than happy to please and attend.  The owner Mons introduced himself and with a wealth of local information, this made our canyoneering and zip-line booking so easy.  He was helpful and pleasant always.   The pool is surrounded by lovely, manicured gardens, and the lighting at night has a delightful ambience.  It is one of the few resorts I have come across whereby you can swim in the pool until 10pm.  And the food?  DELICIOUS.  Couldn’t fault it. We were even happy that we got rained-in for a day, just to enjoy the surrounds and relaxing vibe of the resort."

"I booked this place wondering if it was the same one we stayed at for our honeymoon 19 years ago, and it was exactly as I remembered. The facilities are definitely showing their age now; the air conditioning is noisy, and many areas clearly need renovation. However, the surrounding ocean and swimming pool were still incredibly beautiful and lovely. Unfortunately, there's a large building under construction right behind the property, which has been going on for years. I imagine it would be quite noisy on weekdays, but since we stayed over the weekend, it was quiet and pleasant for us. Most importantly, the stars in the night sky were so incredibly clear – it was completely rejuvenating. Also, on our first day, I accidentally left my bag in a Grab taxi, and the staff were incredibly helpful in assisting me. I was very grateful for their efforts. The staff at the breakfast buffet were also very friendly, especially one older gentleman who was exceptionally kind. The breakfast menu changed slightly over our three-day stay, and they even made omelets fresh and brought them to our table, which we thoroughly enjoyed. The restaurant view is also stunning. Because of the loud air conditioner, we'd turn it on when we left for swimming or meals, and then turn it off when we came back to the room. There are three swimming pools, with varying depths like 4, 5, 8, and 12 feet. Being able to swim while looking out at the ocean is just beautiful. If you enter a less crowded pool, a staff member will even come over and clean it for you."

"We spent a lovely family holiday at Solea Seaview Resort during the Chinese New Year break and had a really enjoyable stay. The staff were consistently helpful and welcoming. Our room was a good size, in reasonable condition, with clean bed linen and towels. The balcony offered a beautiful sea view, which we truly appreciated every day. Breakfast was also very nice, with a wide variety of food options to choose from. The absolute highlight for us was the number of swimming pools and the fantastic aquapark — free of charge for guests — plus a trampoline area for a small additional fee. The children absolutely loved it! The hotel also encourages guests to leave reviews, and as a lovely compliment, my son received free access to the children’s playroom — such a thoughtful touch. The beach is not the most Instagrammable, but the sea was perfectly fine for swimming practice. One small downside was that the gym operates only from 8am to 8pm, so late-night training isn’t possible if that’s your preference. Overall, a solid 4 out of 5 — good value for money and a great option for a family holiday."

"Location is good - walkable to restaurants a lot of them are Korean-owned which reflects higher prices except for Filipino-themed cuisine. Hotel rates are higher so I expected a higher level of service however, I was deeply shocked that when I asked for a bucket of ice, they said they charge P100. I am a traveler from the US and my job exposes me to travel usually 3 to 5 star hotels this hotel pretends to be a four-star hotel but the shocking charge of 100 pesos which is less than two dollars. It’s just so ridiculous. It leaves a bad memory of this hotel for me. I think they are monetizing every little thing and that does not make them classy. We were in a group of four, and we also went to the dinner at patio Gavino rooftop and took the Buffet for 1000 pesos per person, but the selection was limited. It was just a good place to experience being on the rooftop however I have been eating out literally every day in my five weeks trip to the Philippines so I can compare prices the 1000 pesos was not justified maybe more appropriate for 600 pesos per person because there was nothing great about the food selection. I also went in the pool and it was a great four hours of swimming, but considering that they catered to a lot of tourist they should extend their full hours to at least until 10 PM because it is super hot in the Philippines. I can’t understand why they have short pool hours when that is really the main attraction of the hotel. What is great though is there bathroom which is air-conditioned and pretty clean to take showers the breakfast is also pretty good and we had complementary breakfast for two days. The staff were great, but I cannot forget the 100 peso charge for ice this hotel should install ice machines in each floor since that is a big necessity considering how hot it is so for the owners I wish you would reconsider your business way of doing things and trying not to charge every little thing. It leaves a bad taste in my mouth and I do not want or believe I need to go back to your hotel."
