"We arrived at the Inn as part of our travel around Ontario. The inn is stunning, so relaxed and informal. Self check in, and freshly baked cookies awaited us. The inn is beautifully decorated, and the room was amazing. The most comfy bed and pillows i have have ever slept in. We spent 4 nights here, the place is perfect to relax after exploring the area and taking part in whitewater activities on the stunning Ottawa river. Breakfast is informal, fresh produce inc eggs, bread, yoghurts, cereal, cheese and milks all provided along with everything you need to cook your own food if you wish. The coffee machine has clear instructions and produces freshly ground coffee. Perfect start to the day. Loved our stay and when we return to Canada will be on our list of places to revisit."

"We needed a place near Bancroft for the Gem Jamboree, and though this was 50 minutes north, it was a delightful lodge and place to stay. It had all that we needed, clean and comfortable, with a decent sized fridge, coffee machine, microwave and enough space for 3 (using the pull out couch). We only spent the last day at the site, and thoroughly enjoyed the lake, using the row boat to get out on the water. It was amazing to see a field for soccer, a kids climbing frame, a net to play badminton/volleyball. It had all you would need for a great getaway. It was also not far for us to go to the main street and buy some trinkets from Grumbling Grannies. The owner was so nice, friendly and helpful, giving us green tea as my boyfriend didn't drink coffee. Considering the heat and being in the midst of summer, I didn't have any problems with mosquitos, though we did use bug repellent. We also thoroughly enjoyed watching the meteor shower late on Saturday night in the field, incredible without the city lights and ambient light of Toronto."

"Hello, this is Poutine Feast we are traveling Festival, we have been staying at this beautiful hotel for many years now the staff is exceptional. The food was really good and we will definitely be coming back next year especially thanks to Odette for being so organized and making all our stay for the week so amazing. The rooms were very clean. We were very lucky to have the room with the Jacuzzi and I can say that I was very impressed as always we will definitely be back next year. Thanks again."
