Good for a sleep and a shower, but I'd be sad to have to stay more than one night. It's one up from a tent. Double bed room is a bed above another bed on mezzanine floor with a steep ladder to practice mountain climbing. Sound is a problem here as it migrates from next door and outside. Bring ear plugs

Good place for money we paid to stay for one night on the route.

Good location by car. The room (especially the bathroom) could be a bit more modern.

We were worried after reading the previous reviews! Quirky, chalet or motel style hotel. Rooms are small but clean and I’ve stayed in much worse for much more money! Watch the mezzanine access by ladder - bit steep and narrow but kids will love it! Tea and coffee making facilities, hairdryer, toiletries and a great breakfast! For the price it does the job and is in an excellent position for getting off the A34 from the south and getting onto the A26 going North. Out of town last minute shopping 5 mins easy drive with a McDs and a HyperU. Say no more!

We were first hit as we alighted our coach with the most appalling smell from the bins which were situated only meters from the sleeping accommodation. It is a pity that I couldn't record the smell for you to appreciate just how bad it was. The rooms, and I use the term rooms very loosely would have been better described as garden sheds and only as big. On entry we were faced with what can only be described as a totally unacceptable abode for the night. On the walls were marks that looked like bodily fluids and a hole with some rough cementing around it. Needless to say I didn't examine the hole too closely in case something was in residence! Cobwebs complete with spiders adorned the place. We all sat around in the grounds before retiring as we wanted to spend as less a time as possible in the so called rooms. We decided that we would engage in some drinks from the bar. After only one pint they ran out of draught beer and it promptly shut at 2230 without warning. Surely they knew the coach was coming and they should have prepared better. Having being sat for around an hour we were joined by a couple of mice that continued to run around our feet, perhaps they appreciated the smell of the bins and saw them as a likely food source. Avoid if you can! If you can't stay at home.

Really lovely bungalows, under the sky. There is no air conditioning, but you don’t need any as the trees and the green keep the environment cool enough. It’s clean and nice. Kettle is provided with usual drink bags. Parking is handy and it’s quiete. I will go back again when around

Clean room, clean and pleasant bedding. We were lucky enough to have a room facing the garden. Hearty breakfast. We highly recommend this hotel. A big thank you to the whole team

Very nice home. Correct room but exterior needs to be reviewed. The paint and floor would have to be redone. The room equipment suited me. Breakfast has a limited choice but is really good.

In an industrial area, very quiet on a Sunday evening but very noisy on Monday morning. Very warm welcome from the receptionist, perfect room and bedding. Downside: no restaurant although indicated in the reservation.

Quiet hotel, but too old: in need of serious updating!!!!! severely lacking in space and above all in hangers and various storage areas.... The quality is unfortunately not there!!! Cushions far too soft.....

Hotel very well located, room outside overlooking a small garden, pleasant, friendly and welcoming staff, hearty breakfast (mini pain au chocolat, mini croissants, brioche, bread, pancakes, cereals, cheese, yogurt, compotes, juice fruit)

Really small rooms, not very comfortable beds. Breakfast really limited in choice. .. Suitable for sleeping on a short stay out of obligation. RAS for the staff who are on the other hand very welcoming and helpful.
