Holiday Inn Redding

This is the worst stay experience I had in my life. 1. There is no room service and cleaning for my stay. I was told they only clean the room "every other" night, so yes, if you book for two nights, you don't get room service. Then I asked the front desk, I paid the same price as two single night and I didn't any discount for two nights, why shouldn't I get the service, and then it was like, oh, our cleaning ladies are off work after 5pm. So I'm done with then and just ask for cleaning towels which they don't even provide. I wait for another 1.5hrs to get the towels to take shower after long day of hiking. It is awful. 2. The room came without shower curtain. Water split everyone and you have to clean it by yourself cause there is no room service for your first night stay!!!!! I asked the front desk to install the curtain next morning and of course it was ignored. So, don't stay here if you are going to Lassen unless you want to clean a hotel room by yourself!!!

I can't believe this hotel. How do you not have my room ready 6 hours after check in and offer me nothing! I had to call you to find out if I needed to find another place to stay at 9pm after driving all day. Unacceptable. Then when I asked to speak to a manager the front desk receptionist pretended she was trying to get a hold of one and put me on hold. I was watching her the entire time from the lobby on speaker phone. She just put me on hold and was scrolling through her cell phone. Called the customer relations line 800 number and they REFUSED to help me. Told me they opened up a ticket while I was walking around Walmart trying to figure out if I needed to find a place for me and my son to stay. Don't stay here.
