It's right at the expressway exit, so it's convenient and quick to check in if you arrive late at night. The facilities are quite new.

Newly opened Holiday Inn Express at the site of the old Ramada, in northern Redding right on I-5.
The newly designed rooms are spacious and comfortably furnished. Everything is spotlessly clean. The indoor pool is a bit small, and unfortunately there is no whirlpool. The WiFi was unstable and stopped working completely late in the evening. Breakfast was of the usual high standard for Holiday Inns, with hot dishes (scrambled eggs, sausages, hash browns), waffles and pancakes to make yourself, as well as bagels and cereal.
