I found strange that iron was not available in my room and also get 2 days where card stop working when from work and needed to get support to unlock my room. Complementary stuff in room very weak.

Location is good, very near Reading city central. However, not many amenities are provided.

I have visited this hotel many times for events and functions but never actually stayed. Staff were very friendly and the hotel itself looks very nice, so what a shame that the whole thing is let down by cleanliness. The windows in my room were actually dripping in mould, damp and grime, which is surely a health hazard? I have stayed at many hotels but never stayed at one that displays such filthy conditions in the room, absolutely disgusting!

Location was great. Hotel had free games to play for guest like table tennis, darts and pool. Clean and pleasant staff

Really liked this hotel. I was only there for a night before a race so didn’t get to try any of the facilities but I would love to come back when I have more time to relax and explore.

Pentahotel is as good as always ！comfortable and stylish with a relaxed vibe. The room was very spacious, which I really appreciated, though there’s no air conditioning, which might be an issue on warmer days. I especially enjoy the ground floor area where is a great space to hang out with friends, play some table tennis or darts, and have a few drinks. It’s definitely one of the hotel’s highlights. However, the drinks could be improved. The rosé wine seemed flat, like it had been opened too long… no bubbles at all, which made it taste off. I don’t think I should’ve been charged for that. Also, the martini cocktail was too bitter, probably because the mix wasn’t balanced properly. Overall, still a solid stay with a great social space, just skip the cocktails next time.

The place is filthy, white marks on wall, brown stains in toilet. Facilities are very well worn and the service is terrible, rude and not helpful.

Nice location. I booked it for a friend and he loved it. I have slept there a couple of times. Free WiFi, gym, board, and computer games.

The rooms need some TLC as it seems they’re not maintained very well otherwise a fairly priced hotel

Lovely spacious room, with a fun games area downstairs and discounted nearby parking too!

I mostly really liked this hotel - the room was nice, shower was good, staff were friendly and the breakfast was great! There was one big problem though - the hotel is right next to a dual carriageway and the noise from the road below in my room was horrendous! I probably will give them another try and request a room away from the road next time, but if I get another room in the same location my next trip will probably be my last, even though i liked everything else about the hotel.

It worth the price, the facilities are mostly 24hours.

The hotel’s location was perfect – situated in a central area with easy access to local attractions, shops, and dining options.
