"Upon a very late arrival the room provided had a very bad mildewy smell which was masked by the cold air. As the room warmed up the smell intensified which made it hard to sleep. The following morning I spoke with the front desk person who was apologetic. She had the housekeeping manager show me 2 rooms to pick from, which I ended up switching to a newer refurbished room. Be aware that this is an older hotel and although it is nonsmoking, the rooms are carpeted and some do have a stench of smoke. The lobby was very nice with a huge lounging area. The kitchen had good coffee and pastries. There are many stores and restaurants nearby. The staff was very friendly and helpful."
