"So this is our 13th year of staying at The Rauriserhof, and our second stay of this year, both with our grown up children and as a couple - quite simply it’s our go-to place to relax, have fun, with wonderful staff to look after us and superb food: what’s not to like? It’s a real team effort to make us as guests feel special, welcome and cared for - led by the lovely Sandra and Martin (who has created a really superb wine cellar), Gabi and her team on reception are exceptional and the bar team of Jamiel and David are worth the money alone, plus Michael and Renee in the restaurant again making us feel valued despite our table and fruit requests. The sheer effort which goes into creating a special authentically welcoming place, with locally sourced delicious food is evident from the moment you arrive until the moment you leave. Not that we ever actually want to leave - we just go home for a bit to give our stomachs a rest!"

"We have been visiting Hotel Alpina for over 15 years for our annual snowboarding holiday, and there’s a reason we keep coming back – it is simply outstanding in every way. The hotel is immaculately clean throughout, from the bedrooms to the communal areas and dining room. The standards are exceptional and have genuinely set the benchmark by which we judge every other hotel we stay in! Thomas and Carmen have created something very special here. They provide a fantastic guest experience, supported by a team that is warm, welcoming and always happy to help. German is not our first language, but the staff are incredibly patient and speak excellent English, which makes us feel completely at ease. The food is another highlight and easily exceeds typical 4-star standards. Breakfast offers a wonderful hot and cold selection with great coffee to fuel a full day on the mountain. In the evenings, dinner is a real treat – a generous salad buffet, starter, soup, choice of main course, and delicious dessert every night, plus a cheese board if you can manage it!
