The receptionis really made the experience of the visit in Rättvik and the Hotell a heartwealcoming one. Eventhough it is Summertime during our visit, we where kind of cold getting to the Hotell, that is why I would really like to know where to buy the blankets on top of the bed, they were so soft and warm. Last tip, would be a way to get downtown whitout walking up and down that hill.

Excellent cozy hotel
We stopped here on our way up north and it was perfect for the night. Cozy hotel during the winter time with lights in all the windows, a fire place, etc. Staff was friendly and helpful. Our children had fun playing ping-pong, billiards and we visited the relax area with a bubble pool and sauna, you can book for 1 hour exclusively.
The restaurant had excellent food!
Beds were comfortable and our family room was nice and spacious. The only room for improvement would be bathroom renovations.

Beautiful views of Lake Siljan. Lovely well situated hotel. Beautiful and classic design with furniture and layout. Lovely sauna suite with view from sauna. Great breakfast. The only thing to mention is only one vegetarian/vegan option at dinner that wasn't up to scratch. But according to my travel partner the other dishes were excellent.

We stayed here for one night because I wanted to see Lake Siljan. If you don't have a car, though, think twice about booking here because there is no taxi service in Rättvik and the hotel has no shuttle service. The restaurant was really good and the waiting staff was well trained. I was pleasantly surprised by our meal. Breakfast was very good as well. The rooms were comfortable, clean, and adequate.
