The Glenrock Wellness Nature Resort

We went there to celebrate my husband’s birthday , and it turned out to be an amazing experience from start to finish. A heartfelt thanks to Asanka for carefully noting all our requirements, passing them to the team, and arranging everything perfectly. The birthday decoration was simply beautiful and beyond our expectations . Special thanks to Thushara, Asanka, and Gihan for arranging different and unique dining experiences. The breakfast in Belihuloya was the highlight of our stay – it was truly amazing and unforgettable ☀️. Dilshan (Hussey) made the Village Tour so meaningful by explaining everything about the Ulugalathanna village . The village itself was so beautiful and picturesque, giving us wonderful insights into the place and its culture ✨. The mountain view from our room was breathtaking ⛰️, and the food throughout our stay was absolutely delicious . The drink and snack offered at the welcome were refreshing and so good , and the grand welcome overall made us feel warm and valued . The thoughtful checkout snack was also such a lovely surprise . A big thank you to the entire Glenrock team for making our stay so special. We are truly grateful for all the effort, care, and hospitality that made this celebration so memorable and unforgettable .

It was truly a wonderful experience where nature meets modernity in a perfect blend. Food in what ever way was the best with a very courteous staff attending to the needs of the guests in the wilderness. Hats off to the Executive Chef cannot remember his name but was wearing spectacles chef hats off to the delicious food and specially should mention the F&B experts Gihan & Chandana for the wonderful service they provided to our family throughout the stay! And also the gentleman who took us through the tour thanks for the amazing hospitality you provided. And finally I would like to mention the owner Mr. Abeysinghe who personally had a chat with us and made sure everything was comfortable for us Thanks so much for the unforgettable experience Glenrock! Will definitely visit and I recommend this wonderful place to anyone who is searching serenity ♥️

The Glenrock is a peaceful retreat surrounded by lush mountains and a crystal-clear river. The views are breathtaking, and the rooms blend comfort with nature beautifully—especially the river-view suites. The staff were warm and attentive, and the local food was delicious. Perfect place to relax, connect with nature, and enjoy Sri Lanka’s hill country at its best. Highly recommended!

The Glenrock is a recommended stay for a relaxed excursion with nature's humidity as it's location is surrounded with numerous endemic plant species and waterfalls. The road to the boutique resort is adventurous for a first experience. The stay here was memorable, not only because of creative accommodation concept attached with its nature, but also due to the warm service which was provided through out our visit by their wonderful staff. Hand of applause to the amazing team of the Glenrock kitchen who add flavorful meals for menus and serve them fresh with spice. Even if you love to enjoy your meal with a bonfire at night, or for a morning person who would like to have their early breakfast by the Kamatha, they arrange our needs with prior information to fulfill our preferences. The resort owns the most friendliest troupe of staff you can ever meet so far, as they wish to arrange perilous excursions to nature's iconic rescues within your stay to make it a meaningful visit. Give them any suggestions, they try to work it out, that is their specialty. The off road trips which were guided by the executive chef, who is a multi-tasking talent, to the summit of Non-Perial Estate and it's waterfall, Surathali Waterfall and to the three pits of Thini oya are eye catchy destinations, who seeks for natures hidden treasures.

A truly special place tucked away in nature I recently had lunch at The Glenrock Wellness Nature Resort, and honestly, it was one of the most peaceful and memorable experiences I’ve had in a long time. The whole place is surrounded by greenery, rivers, and misty hills — it’s like stepping into a hidden world. The food was excellent. Everything tasted fresh and full of flavour, and the presentation was just as good. I especially enjoyed having dessert by the river — such a calming spot. What stood out the most was the service. The staff were friendly, attentive, and genuinely made us feel welcome. You can tell they really care about what they do. Glenrock isn’t just another resort — it’s the kind of place you go to when you need a real break from everything. Perfect for couples or solo travellers looking to relax and enjoy nature. Tip: If you’re going, definitely try eating by the river and don’t miss the early morning walk — it’s something special.

Our family enjoyed 3 nights at the Glenrock in an idyllic setting surrounded by the mountains and nature. The accommodations were exquisite and the location by the river was lovely. Concierge level service and fabulous dining : Duminda, Asanka, and the chef (name?) and everyone else on staff made our stay memorable with the most friendly and personalized service we have encountered anywhere in our travels. Wow!
