This lodge is under new ownership since February 2025 and Brem and Nissansella are doing a fantastic job to revamp the place and give guests a wonderful stay. In the 3 nights we spent with them nothing was too much trouble and the food and treats on return from walks were exceptional. The location on the confluence of two rivers and a 20 minute walk from the reserve entrance is ideal. And whilst some of the facilities need a bit of work (which they are addressing) it represents excellent value for money compared to other options in the vicinity. Watching the fireflies over the river from our balcony is one of our best memories of Sri Lanka!
