"Sook Hotel was a great stay overall. The room was spacious, comfortable, and very well done. The location is fantastic, with plenty of good restaurants and bars within walking distance, which made everything super convenient. The facilities were good and had everything needed for a comfortable stay. Breakfast was also a highlight — a great selection and everything tasted really good. I also appreciated the hotel’s attention to detail, especially the separated bins for different kinds of trash, which shows they care about cleanliness and sustainability. Would definitely recommend Sook Hotel to anyone looking for a comfortable stay in a great location"

"Looking at the photos, it looked like there was an old and a new building, so I booked a ”Superior Twin Room (Main Building).” It was actually quite different from the photos, but I still had a comfortable stay. There were no problems with the amount of water and temperature in the shower, and the bathroom was kept reasonably clean. Considering the price, the service was quite satisfactory. Ranong has several hot springs, and I think it's a great tourist destination for Japanese hot spring lovers. It was a very fond memory."

"The location is very good, close to food sources. It's a newly opened hotel, so it's very clean and new. There's also a small cafe that serves and they also serve welcome drinks to guests. The room is beautifully decorated and has excellent details. I like that there's an adjustable headboard light. The light switches can be turned on separately. I chose a room with separate beds, which can sleep 3-4 people. It's a corner room, just right, no window, but extremely quiet. I really like it. I will definitely go back to stay again."

"This was my second stay at the hotel, and overall it was a pleasant experience. The location is excellent—very convenient to get around and explore the area. The staff were friendly and provided good service throughout my stay. One downside is that the soundproofing in the room could be improved, as noise can be heard at times. On a positive note, the hotel offers complimentary tea, coffee, snacks, and bananas at the lobby, which is a nice touch. Overall, it’s a good stay and I would consider coming back again."

"I and my father came to Ranong for some errands and wanted to try staying somewhere new for a change. This hotel is located in the city centre, making it very convenient for getting around, and it also offers parking, which is why I decided to stay at The Galla. However, upon check-in, we found that the air conditioner wasn’t working. After putting up with the heat for about half an hour, we decided to inform the staff. The hotel sincerely apologised for the inconvenience and immediately offered to move us to the new room, or provide a full refund if we preferred to move to another place. We were very impressed with how quickly and efficiently they handled the situation. We would definitely consider staying here again if we return to Ranong"

"The hotel is very well located, very close to the main street. The room was large with a small balcony. The pool is nice, although it only has a few sun loungers (just 3). The breakfast is also very good. Communication with the staff is difficult as they speak little English; I even wrote an email but never received a reply."

"This is actually a lovely hotel with an ambitious 1990s design, an infinity pool on the roof, spacious rooms, and good art on the walls. My main issue was the noise from the poorly maintained air conditioning units, which apparently weren't properly insulated from the building and produced a loud humming sound throughout the evening and night. Someone really needs to address that; sleeping without earplugs is impossible. I also found it disappointing that I couldn't even get a coffee at the hotel in the morning, let alone breakfast, as the hotel's cafe only opened in the late afternoon. The hotel really has charm and great potential."
