"Before our stay at Finca Treuer, we spent four nights at a 5-star finca. It's very important to us to be able to find peace and relaxation amidst beautiful nature with a fitting ambiance. With great food, for which we are happy to pay more. That's exactly what we wanted during our stay at Finca Treuer – which boasts a 5-star rating. Unfortunately, our stay at Finca Treuer was disappointing: hospitality and attentiveness were lacking. There were also language barriers with the staff; some spoke only Spanish and no English. Our requests were sometimes forgotten, which was very unpleasant. At breakfast: There was a lack of choice. There wasn't a large selection of fresh vegetables or various herbs, cheeses, etc. When we ordered avocado toast, it was completely burnt and inedible. Regarding the amenities: 1. Our room was missing a hairdryer. We left it there immediately upon arrival. The next day, we had to ask again to get one. Our room was photographed very well, but this didn't reflect reality. It was very dark with little natural light. No window in the bathroom. 2. The bed was unfortunately extremely uncomfortable, and we suffered from back pain the next day. Cleanliness: There were still hairs from previous guests in the bathroom. 3. Pool: The website showed photos of daybeds. In reality, there were just standard loungers by the pool. The loungers were very hard and uncomfortable. There was no service staff here. We were never asked if we wanted something to drink. Use of fertilizers during our stay: The olive groves were sprayed with fertilizers. There was a very unpleasant odor in the air. Conclusion: Unfortunately, we cannot recommend this hotel. We are used to better."

"The hotel is fairly close to El Arenal beach area, so walking to the main beach areas is quite straightforward.The area of El Arenal is very noisy so not very good if you want a quiet break. The higher up rooms in the hotel are a better choice due to noise from the street."
