The hotel is too stingy! The water flow is deliberately adjusted to be very small, as thin as a pencil, and it takes half a day to rub the towel. The water tank in the toilet was also working intermittently, and the sliding door of the shower room would slide open automatically when closed, so I had no choice but to use something to hold it up. I don’t even know how the four stars came about? Maybe it's just that the external environment of the hotel is good, but it's just fake! Will never stay at this hotel again.

$450 was stolen out of my room and hotel management refused to do anything about it and denied it then when I tried to have breakfast, I waited forever at the host stand with no greeting even though there were three people walking in the restaurant, just totally ignoring me when I was finally seated I ordered an oatmeal and a coffee and after 30 minutes I walked out and not even my coffee had been poured.

Located in the North Carolina State University campus, this wasn’t a problem for us but I understand why it could have been for others. One definitely needed a car for this location. On the plus side, it was quiet and peaceful. It was about a 10 minute drive into the city and parking was never an issue. Our room was a good size. Clean and comfortable. Food was plentiful at breakfast with a choice of hot and cold food. On the downside the restaurant was closed between 11am and 4pm, so it wasn’t possible y to o get decent cup of coffee in the afternoon.

My wife and I had "staycation" here for the Fourth of July. We were looking for a place to relax and unwind and the StateView fit the bill. The King size room we stayed in was quiet and with the blackout shades we were able to sleep in. Being able to stay on-side and have dinner and breakfast was what we were looking for. The outdoor spaces are the true reason to visit. Eating on the patio looking at the trees was serene. And, lounging at the pool helped us really get away for a night. We'll be back.

Darlene and Valerie of the flask &beaker restaurant inside the hotel are the best. They are very professional and so friendly. Please stop by and visit them. U will love the experience as much our did
