"Subject: unpleasant stay experience - the nalanda heritage, rajgir i am compelled to provide detailed feedback regarding my recent stay at the nalanda heritage, and unfortunately, my experience was far from satisfactory. Upon arrival, the state of the bed was alarming. The sheets were visibly dirty, and the blanket, not only lacking a cover but also appearing excessively dusty, raised serious concerns about hygiene. It was evident that the housekeeping standards were severely lacking. Equally distressing was the absence of a reception area. The hotel's failure to provide a dedicated space for guest services resulted in a chaotic and unprofessional atmosphere. The lack of a centralized point for inquiries, check-ins, and assistance significantly impacted the overall guest experience. In addition to the cleanliness and organizational issues, the overall ambiance and decor of the hotel left much to be desired. The outdated furnishings and a general lack of maintenance contributed to an unappealing atmosphere. I sincerely hope this feedback is taken seriously, as improvements are essential to maintain the reputation of the nalanda heritage and ensure a more pleasant stay for future guests."

"Perhaps I will have not enough words to describe this property ….awesome fabulous stupendous enchanting spiritual and above all the great friendly service by everyone at the retreat …..the retreat is located within the 53 acre VEERATAN complex of TAI MA , a spiritual gurumaa of JAINS……the retreat was built by Sinclair hotel chain and donated to Veerstan …..however the kitchen and management is managed by Sinclair staff from Kolkata……the food is only vegetarian with no onion and garlic ….you get local good food of Bihar with usual spread of breakfast …..spread is limited but good….. The rooms are very spacious with two queen beds and easily four family members can accommodate with all toiletries …..next all ground floor rooms open to a big garden full of flowers and greenery with morning sunrise views ….all around mountains add to the beauty of the retreat …… Next to the retreat is a charitable Eye Dental and Naturopathic hospital providing subsidised care with in-house doctors ….one can have ayurvedic massages at the centre at a very affordable rates …. From the retreat all tourist places of RAJGIR which has historical religious and spiritual significance within Acadia’s of 5 km ….one can visit JALMANDIR , another famous religious place of JAINS at a distance of one hour drive from RAJGIR …. "Hotel was at very good location, just near bus stand and in the centre of rajgir. Close to all major sites. But room had no ventilation, it was stinking. Washroom was stinking as well. But staff were good and cooperative. Hotel needs to focus more on hygiene."
