This was my first time staying at Singhania Sarovar Portico—and indeed my first visit to Raipur—and I feel very lucky to have chosen this hotel. Everything exceeded my expectations. From the bellboy handling my luggage and the guard greeting me with a respectful "Jai Hind," to the staff in the restaurant, room service, and housekeeping—everyone made me feel that I had made the absolute right choice. I have stayed at many Sarovar hotels before, but this experience felt truly special. While the entire team impressed me, Abhishek and Tokesh and Lalit at the reception were outstanding in their assistance throughout my two-day stay. Thank you. "Very approachable from railway station and airport. Rooms are OK. Pillows need to be softer. F and B STAFF is very nice and active. 7am sharp full breakfast is ready unlike other hotels. Nice and decent dining hall with and adapt coffee machine with various coffee options. Live Dosa counter too. Had an opportunity to meet the chef, a very humble person. The first floor is being renovated (June 23 2025) still i was placed there and with repeated requests got a room on a much quiter second floor corner room. Please find the attached pictures of the dining hall which is at the ground floor. The cookie and biscuit plate in the room enhances the experience of a good stay. In all a family place. "

"Terrible hotel, reception staff not friendly, problems with internet, very slow and sometimes dropped out. The room was very dirty, the sheets had not been changed, so you just slipped into the sheets that someone else had slept in. Very dirty. The pillows were very dirty and smelled of sweat. Mold in the bathroom and no toilet paper. Breakfast not ready at 7.30 am, dishes were not fresh and tasted bad. I travel a lot for work but this was the worst experience ever. Windows not cleaned in years. Really scandalous."
