This house offers something for everyone...A very Spacious 5000 square foot home featuring an additional 2000 square foot indoor heated pool, a large family gathering room, gourmet kitchen, 5 bedrooms with 2 bedroom suites, plenty of private spaces for multiple families, great spaces inside and outside to play games, read a book, or just relax next to the fire pit, star gazing and enjoying smores with friends and family!!
Nearby are Golf courses, Delaware State Park-fishing, hiking, beach, boating, kayaking, picnics, etc., Alum Creek, great restaurants and ice cream. There is even a train that passes behind the house that the kids are sure to enjoy!About pets:No pets allowed.About checkOut:Check out before 11:00 AM.About children:Children allowed: ages 0-17.Indoor pool in locked separate building for safety.About customRules:There is not a lifeguard, there must be an adult at pool when kids under18 are in pool or inside the pool house area. The room with the pool was beautiful. The water was cool, but you got used to it, like in any pool. There wasn't too much chlorine where your eyes burn. It was comfortable. The kitchen was beautiful and had up-to-date appliances. There was plenty of space for all the food you could bring. I loved the bucket of ice that was always full with a scooper in it. If you don't like that, there are ice trays full also. There was filtered water also. There were a couple of areas to sit easily 6-8 people. The living room was comfortable and had a beautiful view over the yard. There was a swing set and nice backyard for everyone to enjoy. They had a weber grill to use. Great size yard to play frisbee, volleyball, kickball, or baseball. The bedrooms had celing fans and a nice small fan on the night stand which felt very refreshing if you are like me and love a cool feeling when sleeping! Comfortable sheets and comforters. The bathrooms were clean and up-to-date. There was a beautiful master suite with bathtub, shower, bedroom, and sitting room connected. Nice showerheads in several bathrooms. Most of the bedrooms had an in suite bathroom. There are two sets of stairs going upstairs which is convenient. Please either use the stairs with the carpet if you are going to roll your luggage up the stairs or pick it up if you are going on the hardwood stairs. They are beautiful and could get chipped. We were very careful to pick up luggage.

Well equipped kitchen is an understatement. Everything you could need. Lacked seating options for meals with the large group but the house, pool and kitchen more than made up for that minor detail.

Great quality time in relaxing and scenic rural location
The property was very spacious, clean, and accommodating for a family gathering place. We stayed a few nights, enjoyed every moment. Having a grill and smores fire pit was very nice. The kitchen was a great place to enjoy a Birthday party within the family. Thank you for sharing your lovely property with us.

Quiet Country House was fantastic
We booked this home for a weekend work retreat for 5 adult managers. The property was calm, relaxing, and quiet (even with the nearby train). The home is beautiful and spacious. And of course, the indoor pool was a delightful treat. Owner's communication was great. We had no problems and would happily book again.

Perfect Family Fun Weekend!
What a perfect spot for a small family reunion weekend! The house/pool are exactly as pictured (if not nicer!), kitchen was well-equipped for cooking, and there was plenty of room for kids to play outside. Communication with owners was a breeze! Highly recommend.

Holiday Family Gathering
It was the perfect spot for our get together. Pleanty of room.. a definate geataway we would love to do again. Beautiful spacious property. Amazing kitcken, stocked with everything we could have possibly needed. Pleanty of towels for the showers and the pool.

This place was awesome. The house is in phenomenal shape and the property is in a nice, quiet area. Had great communication with the host as well.
