Hotel Duplex is a good two star hotel in an excellent location. It's just a two minute walk across the bridge over the river to explore Quimper. Also, there are a number of bars and restaurants in the streets to the rear of the hotel. The added bonus is free hotel parking. Parking at the front of the hotel in Blvd Dupleix is limited to about seven or eight cars and manoeuvring is a little tight. Suggest using the spacious hotel garage to the rear of the building with direct direct access to the hotel. The room was spacious and clean and overlooked the river. Everything was good and the bed very comfortable. Breakfast was adequate without being anything special but there was plenty to choose from. We just found the mini croissants a bit dry and chewy. Otherwise, all good. Olivier on reception was exceptionally helpful and spoke good English. Merci monsieur! I would use this hotel again if staying in Quimper.

Arrivée a 21h ,la personne a difficulté pour ouvrir porte,allons au parking ,la personne présente nous attend a l'entrée de celui-ci,mais ne nous donne pas code accès pour la soirée suivante( 2 nuits réservées). Petit déjeuner annoncée a partir 7H .Lendemain matin à 7h30 panne électricité,personne a l'accueil pour régler problème. 7h55 toujours personne, plusieurs clients en attente pour le petit déjeuner, nous devons partir sans déjeuner car rendez vous à 8h30 à 20Km.Le soir vers 18h retour a l'hôtel et faisons part de notre problème à la personne présente, et la surprise,elle nous annonce que actuellement les petits déjeuner ne sont pas servis . Quel honte?? La chambre est spacieuse ,mais baignoire pas pratique,et seulement la 2 et très peux d'autres chaînes de la télévision fonctionne. Nous sommes très très déçu de notre séjour à fuir

Après une liquidation début 2025 cet hotel a été repris, des travaux de remise en état vont être entrepris. Il est cependant ouvert mais ne fonctionne qu'à minima : pas de petit déjeuner, pas de courtoisies dans la chambre ( thé, café d'acceuil etc). La chambre ( 3ème étage) est grande mais la moquette a vécu ! La salle de bains est dans son jus, années 70, formica jaune, baignoire sans pare-douche. WC séparés. Ménage très approximatif. Literie avec un gros surmatelas , bizare ! En l'état ne mérite pas deux étoiles. Points positifs malgrè tout : hotel bien situé, garage attenant fermé ( 15 € la nuit ), calme.

L'hôtel semblait être en travaux avec des cartons de stockage dans le couloir et un distributeur vide. La salle de déjeuner, sur le côté, était lugubre. Nous n'avons pas eu d'y déjeuner le lendemain matin, nous avons préférer sortir pour prendre un café. Mais le pire était la chambre. La moquette est tâchée et surtout sale. Les peintures sont dégoutantes. Une lumière, pour lire le soir, ne fonctionne pas. Une boite kleenex était disponible mais elle était vide ! Une bouilloire et une machine expresso était disponible mais sans une seule dosette et sans sachet de thé. La TV reste à installer ... mais cela peut se comprendre. La douche était une baignoire sans rideau de douche. Concernant la fenêtre : deux vitres sur les trois sont à changer car on ne voit plus à l'extérieur. Au pied de la fenêtre, à l'extérieur, il y a plein de détritus (cannettes de soda, plastiques vides etc...). L'endroit sert de décharge. Le personnel est très accueillant et souriant mais pour le reste, quel dommage et quel gâchis !

Séjour Convenable, l’hôtel mérite un coup de neuf pour retrouver la pertinence de son histoire. Presque décevant au regard du prix.
