"After my recent stay I would NOT recommend Hotel PUR. First, after checking in I was unpacking when someone tried to open my door with a key card. If I didn't have the security latch on they would've been able to just push the door open and enter my room. I asked who it was when I heard someone pushing the door, but no one answered and when I went to check the hallway they were gone. I know someone was able to open my door because the security latch was lifted. I called front desk right away and they thought it might've been staff, because a tech had just come up to check on the ac in the room (I realized the display screen on the wall for the ac wasn't working, and the tech told me I had to control the ac by lifting the metal cover off the ac to adjust it, which is ridiculous that the wall display didn't work). I had to go down to the front desk after the door incident to talk with the manager and she told me they weren't able to check the hallway cameras or key card history that night and the techs were off work, which is also ridiculous, so I asked for a room change. Regardless of it was a staff or not I didn't feel safe staying in that room anymore. The new room they put me in had even more problems than the previous one, I couldn't believe this was a listed as a four-star hotel. The previous room, the lotion was watered down and the toilet bowl was partly yellow. The new room, the toilet bowl was completely yellow, the closet door couldn't close, the bedsheets were old and stained and swept the carpet. In both the rooms, the bathroom ceilings was half finished, the toilets took forever to flush and sometimes the toilet paper wouldn't even go down, and the leather desk chairs were ripped at the seams. I had already wasted an hour on this room matter, so I didn't want to waste any more time of my trip dealing with it, so I stayed in the new room for the rest of my stay. The next morning before I headed out, front desk called me to ask me to go to them so the manager could explain the door incident. She said it was another tech that had gotten the room mixed up and thought it was empty because housekeeping had told them, so they just entered. This is unprofessional and poor training and management on the hotels end because the least the tech could've done is knock or say something after they made a mistake. The ac tech that first came had knocked, so I was scared when this second one didn't and just tried to enter. Also, the area the hotel is in doesn't help with safety as there's a lot of suspicious people around, which makes it especially not safe to walk around at night. I was also not offered any evidence that it was actually a tech/staff, so I took the manager's word for it. Additionally, I got locked in the gym, for some reason my key card didn't work. Another thing was after I checked out, I realized I forgot my black charger head in the black socket under the bedside table (I think black sockets under a bedside table is not ideal). I called the night I checked out, and the staff on the phone said the housekeeping manager went home for the day and there was no way for them to check and to call back in the morning. So, I called back the next morning, and they said they would check for me and call me back. After a few hours I hadn't received a call, so I called back again and the girl on the phone told me her co-worker didn't leave a note about a missing charger. She took my number and said she'd call back within the hour. Surprise, I had to call back again after two hours because no one called back. This time I was told they didn't write down the right phone number, and they didn't find my charger. I can't believe I had to call more than 4 times just to inquire about my missing charger. Overall, the door incident and the charger situation showed how poorly managed this hotel is, as they can't give answers right away and just keep pushing it off. One of the worst hotels I've experienced."

"Both beds were built-in closet beds, one of which overlapped with the dining table, so we set up another table to use as a dining table. There was a small separate kitchen for cooking, but the stoves in Canada are generally not very powerful. The hotel had a large children's play area, which I think kids would love. Adults also had their own game consoles."
