Staying here now. Waited 4 hours when arrived for room, apparently they are full, and check in is 2pm. Not great when you have been travelling for 24 hours!! Will definitely check before booking a long haul destination in future. The service is extremely hit and miss, if you tip heavily you get served (sometimes) The staff are lovely and friendly but no organisation, too many managers and not enough staff. Some meals no drinks served at all or takes so long. Breakfast is the worst time, asking for tea and coffee and cutlery not acceptable. Dinner time there are NO desert spoons!! You constantly have to ask for them then there is a shortage and you are given a teaspoon!! The water served with meals if you get offered it always appears to be warm, difficult i know in a hot country but they manage it in the Maldives. The beach staff are the better area to be served but again hit and miss. The ala carte restaurant the plage was great the italian not so much, you ask for a drink or they offer it then they get distracted easily and you never get it or when you have enough you call someone over they finally bring it. The room is ok but very tired and the hot water stopped working had to ask twice for it to be looked at, they also forgot to stock us with towels. The buffet food is lovely sometimes, but you struggle to make a meal and there are a lot of curries. Will I come again probably not, an expensive holiday which is blighted by poor management. Shame as it could be a lovely place.
