This is the first time I write a bad review. The front desk of this hotel is really terrible. I have to speak out to avoid being ripped off. On the first day of check-in, I was asked if I wanted to upgrade. I was told that if I didn't, I could only get the last room or the room with windows facing the corridor. I said it was okay and I didn't need to upgrade. When I got to the room, the smell was very pungent. It was a strong smell from the new renovation. It took me a long time to get used to it. The sound insulation in the room was also very poor. At night, there were heavy footsteps passing by in the corridor. The voices of people talking in the next room and the music at twelve o'clock were all clear. I couldn't fall asleep peacefully and would be woken up very early in the morning. The key point is that on the second day, we didn't want to change hotels anymore, so we wanted to change rooms. We went to the front desk to ask for another basic room type, but were refused because they said it was not open and could not be booked. I said that I saw it was being sold normally online. The front desk asked us to spend money to buy their membership and give us a free upgrade. We didn't stay in hotels often, so we refused. We immediately placed an order online. Maybe an operational error led to the booking of a twin room. Twin beds are not big beds, but we still tried to ask the front desk if it could be changed to a king bed. As a result, we were told that it would cost extra to change to a king bed in the same room type. This was the first time I heard that it would cost extra to change twin beds to a king bed in the same room type! I clearly saw the same price online, so I decided to change it myself. However, when I clicked the modification button and refreshed the page, I found that the price for a king-size bed had been raised. I didn't care and chose a twin bed and checked into the room. When I first entered and checked the order, I found that the price of the king-size bed, which had been raised, had been adjusted back down! Suddenly I realized that it was their front desk who was doing something disgusting. I then contacted customer service to verify it. It was true that there was a high price just now. Normally, the same room type with a king-size bed and a twin bed should have the same price. Only Ctrip customer service has been apologizing. No one from you has come to explain from beginning to end. Such an experience only deserves bad reviews. What makes people so angry is the bad attitude. They are only thinking about making money and act like they don't care. Is it worth being so disgusting for just a dozen dollars? If you can't provide good service, then don't work in the service industry. All you think about is how to cheat customers. And they are under the Jinjiang brand. It's shameful!
