Deserves 4*. Clean but shabby a hotel for all. This hotel is suitable for all. It is clean although the public toilets are grim but that is down to the users. The rooms are spacious and clean but shabby. The cleaning was excellent. The pool is excellent and the service around the pool from the pool attendants and bar staff was exceptional. The entertainment team are high energy and do a good job. But not if you want to relax. The sales guys are annoying and persistent but are only doing their jobs and do it with a smile so you cannot fault them. The beach is good and the reef is good but too many people trying to get in the same area. The reef round the corner is really good but you cannot fault only get out there in the afternoon. The nearest pier is not accessible which is disappointing. The boat trip from the beach takes you to some great reefs but accessibility on to the boat when out at sea is challenging so not for those who are not fit. I struggled getting back on. The food was ok. Always something to eat although a bit of a free for all and chaotic at times. The al carte don’t bother. All in all a good holiday.

Came home a week ago. Lovely hotel, staff friendly and helpful. Loved our swim up room, and the main pool is a good size. Enjoyed aqua gym most days and sometimes water zumba. Weekly evening pool party and daytime foam party was excellent, lots of fun. Loads of fish in the sea, lovely beach.

I visited Barcelo Tiran for the second time and not the last. The most I like: clean territory, perfect room service, excellent animation team ( Elina, Darina, Lisa you are BEST! Mr.Whisky ), very polite and helpful administration team. Meal is wonderful (my respect, Chef!), every day lots of meat, fish, fruits, veggie... Everything is tasty, fresh and cooked with love))) Rooms are large and have everything you need including iron and ironing board. I love this place, hope will return here again!
