Wow. This place is nothing short of spectacular. My husband and I traveled with another couple and stayed here 3 nights before heading out for the rest the journey. Words won’t describe the magic you will experience at Elements. The property is serene, beautiful and rustic, immersing you in the enchanting local ecosystem. Accommodations are quite lovely but the stars of the show are the staff and owners who are generous, kind and so friendly!! I wish we could have stayed longer…..we won’t forget this experience.

This was by far the best hotel I stayed in during my 3 weeks in Sri Lanka! If you are looking for relaxation & nature while eating the most amazing food, this is the place! The staff is amazing and I loved the dogs (Dixi❤️) and donkeys. The rooms are beautiful and the resort overall is very stylish and just wonderful.

For Anyone Considering a Stay I would like to share my recent experience at Kapiti. The area operates on two seasons: the off-season and the main season. We visited in April, and it seemed quite empty during our stay. The property itself has a lovely view and plenty of space. However, the cleanliness was not up to my expectations; I found lizard droppings in both the room and the bathroom. The swimming pool was quite neglected, filled with algae, so we opted not to use it. As for dining options, the hotel has limited offerings. The Alacarte menu is only available from 1 PM to 3:30 PM, and outside those hours, no meals are served. The only snacks available were french friese, cashews, roasted coconut, and a couple of others. There was no room service, so I had to retrieve everything myself, and the staff wasn't particularly helpful. For dinner, our choices were limited to a basic rice and curry dish with only one seafood option, at a cost of 3,900 per adult. There wasn’t much flexibility in the menu. Additionally, the room lacked air conditioning, making it quite uncomfortable at night. Whenever I raised concerns, the response was that this establishment is designed for foreign guests and aimed at embracing a nature-oriented concept. I would recommend exploring other accommodations if you're considering a stay at this hotel.

Had an incredible time away from the chaos! The staff at this hotel were exceptionally friendly and helpful throughout our stay, really setting the tone for our experience. The food was outstanding—especially the fresh tuna fillet, grilled to perfection. The location is truly serene and calming, right on the beach with the lagoon just on the other side. Overall, it was an excellent stay, and we will certainly be back!

Elements is not only a beautiful oasis of relaxation, it is a place where you can come to rest and immerse yourself in creation. The wonderful honest prayer times around the campfire and encouraging one another was wonderful. The team and owners are very caring friendly and accommodating, you feel very welcome, loved and at home.

After initial blip with the accommodation ( my fault) we were reroomed to a lagoon villa. The villa was spacious with a very comfortable bed and mosquito net and outdoor shower. There was a limited choice of buffet food for breakfast and dinner but all was tasty and freshly prepared. The beach was clean with plenty of umbrellas for shade. All staff were friendly and helpful. Overall a perfect place for a laid back restful holiday. Thank you so much to the owner for re rooming us . It certainly made such a difference to the start of our Sri Lankan holiday.

We had the most wonderful stay at Elements. The staff were fabulous and so helpful. We ate dinner every night and on the last night they barbecued tuna caught that morning and cut directly of the fish - spectacular. We stayed in the rustic 2 storied cabins but if you weren't keen on sleeping under the rattan roof there were options too. Breakfasts were included and delicious too. Beach walks were great and we enjoyed the pool too. Donkeys and birds life abounded too.
