Wow what a great first 8 days in Costa Rica . Lovely hotel and a 5 minute walk away from top 40 beach in the world right nxt door to it! Beach chairs and towels provided for use. Lovely breakfast and staff could not do enough for you. Pool always quiet and rooms big. Moved on to a supposed 5* hotel in Arenal but doesnt compare to our little Punta UVA gem!

Rooms full of insects ( understable due to rain ), tv's do not work ( this was fixed), toilets do not flush, all maintenance staff leaves at 9 and whatever they are working on will be taken care of the next day. We were told to walk to the lobby if we need to use the toilet...this response was very disappointing, i spoke to the manager and he showed no empathy, i explained that for 1700 USD, it should be a very relaxing and smooth stay but he replied : every owner handles the hotel as they wish and in our case after 9 pm all the staff is dismissed, regardless of the issue. He also said that every where in the world maintenance does not work 24/7.....i don't know what he was trying to prove but Diego, let me tell you, this is not correct at all...anyway...I am very frustrated with this situation, due to a medical situation I need a bathroom in my room, i asked them several times to move me to another room ( not a villa) but even though the hotel is nearly empy, he said no....

The receptionist was very friendly and helpful! The property is very clean and beds are comfortable. The breakfast was excellent. The pool area is also well kept. I have no complaints and would definitely stay here again. Super nice

I had an outstanding stay at The Bungalows Hotel! everything was amazing. The amenities are top-notch, and the staff from the manager to the receptionist to housekeeping—were all incredibly kind, supportive, and welcoming. The entire property was spotless and well-maintained, and the food was absolutely delicious. The hotel is very safe and secure, with convenient access to the beach. One of the highlights was definitely the jacuzzi pool, especially at night with the neon lights it was the perfect spot to relax and unwind. I highly recommend this hotel and would definitely return. A truly excellent experience all around!

Amazing Stay at Punta Uva! The bungalows were perfect—great amenities, a beautiful pool, and a super clean jacuzzi. The beach access was unbeatable, just steps away and absolutely gorgeous. The staff was fantastic across the board—from reception, housekeeping Alonso and his coworkers to the managers and restaurant team, Allan was outstanding everyone was friendly and welcoming. Highly recommend 100%!

Excellent property, it is fantastic… very clean… the room is big and very nice. I like walk inside the property during the night because it has fantastic views, also during the day. Nice swimming pools with two jacuzzi. The breakfast that I had included is fantastic. And the most is all the hotel team is fantastic, friendly and cordial. I will be in the same place when I return to the area
