There is a car to take you to the pier, which is a bit of a walk from the beach, about 500 meters. There are rowing boats for rent on the beach to chase big turtles and find corals. The area circled by buoys is the snorkeling spot, and there are a lot of tropical fish in the waters near the reef shore🐠.

Excellent hotel, clean, everything you need in the room. It's a leisurely 15-minute walk to the beach. We ate at the hotel cafe, always delicious, varied breakfast.

the most horrible hotel ive ever been
if u just want a place to lay down, and doesnt mind about : ants and bugs around ur bed & 1km stairs up & no amenities including tower & no tissue no table no nothing & toilet stinky smelly, then go ahead. u should just use 100rm more and go another one.

The hotel corresponds to the price, the others on the island are much more expensive. Located on a hill, it consists of separate houses. The rooms are small, the TV in the room did not work, the air conditioning worked but was noisy.
If you are placed in the top rooms, then walking up the stairs several times a day completely replaces the fitness room)
Restaurant with reasonable prices, not bad
The beauty of the island and the magnificent beach make up for some of the hotel's inconveniences

So happy to have spent my time on Redang Island at De’Rimba. Thank you to the wonderful staff who are the friendliest people i appreciate everything they have done to make my time here the best i could have imagined!
My room was one of the top huts which had a comfortable queen size bed, TV, iron and ironing board. The bathroom was a bit smaller than what i was expecting in that i thought there would be more room to shower in, but it was fine by me as i was able to use it with no problem. The hut has a balcony which is nice to sit in and chill after coming back from the beach.
The food was so tasty and i was so relieved that they accept card payments because i forgot to take out money from the ATM before going to the island.
100% coming back to stay at De’Rimba in my next trip to Redang :)

I haven't written many reviews, but this one is really average. If you go to Redang Island, I recommend going to the resorts in Laguna Beach. Although it's a bit more expensive, the boat tickets to and from the island, food, diving and other items are all included in the price. This hotel buys its own boat tickets. When you arrive on the island, even the hotel car picks you up for about 3 kilometers and charges 10 MYR per person (I've never encountered airport hotel pick-up charges before, so it's incredible!). There is nothing near the hotel. You have to rent a boat to go to the beach, and the boat you rent for sunset must also come back (the boat owner said it was because of the dangerous wind and waves)! The room was so average that I didn't take pictures. I suggest you be careful and don't step on the pit!
