"The hotel is situated in a very quiet area 3km from Pula, accessible by car or bike (it is not possible to walk from Pula due to the type of roads). Owing to the location, the atmosphere is incredibly peaceful and the hotel itself is calm, tastefully decorated and feels 'boutique'. Pula itself is a great place to visit! We saved quite a lot of money so we could pay for the most expensive room with a small private pool to make the experience really special. We felt the room was beautifully furnished and the pool was an exciting extra - we had sole use of it, however it wasn't completely private as another room overlooked it directly, which was a little disappointing. Paying the price we did, it felt a little grating to have to pay for room extras e.g. minibar contents, particularly as the water from the taps was always warm and so was unpleasant to drink. A few little details could be improved to make the experience really special. For example, the shower had no light inside , which meant we had to shower in semi-darkness, which was not ideal. It also lacked ventilation, so we had to prop the door open using the bathroom bin every day to stop it smelling dank as it did when we first arrived. We stress this wasn't because it wasn't clean, and just an issue with ventilation. The room was very clean overall! Additionally, only one socket in the room took a standard EU adaptor, which for guests from outside the EU is a little frustrating. Finally, the lights on the air conditioning and WiFi router were very distracting at night and we had to block them with an assortment of pillows. On the flip side, The breakfast spread is extravagant and the pastries were delightful! Additionally, we were very grateful to the professional, friendly and multilingual staff who were always very happy to help us out. We discovered that the hotel has plans to develop over the next year and are confident that with a few tweaks it can become a truly superb place to visit!"

"We stayed here for the last two nights of our cycling holiday. The hotel was clean, quiet and a few minutes walk from the centre of Pula, so an ideal location. Our room was comfortable with a small balcony. The friendly receptionist recommended several restaurants and the two we ate at were excellent. Pula itself was a lovely small town and we really enjoyed our stay there. It had a large square where the locals with their families congregated enjoying the friendly atmosphere. The square had plenty of restaurants and bars with lots of outside seating, perfect for enjoying the warm evenings and people watching"

"The hotel was lovely on the inside but needs some tlc outside in the grounds. The pool area is poor with cheap AstroTurf surrounding the pool which was very uneven. Lots of seagulls using the pool as a bath so lots of bird excrement all over the astro. Lots of mature weeds all over the stoned area between the carpark and the pool, very untidy looking. Breakfast was very good with plenty of choice. Bedroom and bathroom extremely comfortable. Hotel is small and a car would be needed as its about 40min walk into Pula. 8min walk to the beach. Bikes available at the hotel."

"Ten years after our beautiful wedding, celebrated by the Club House pool, we returned to introduce our little girl to this wonderful place. Naturally, she was thrilled, too, and ten years later, we'd definitely choose the same hotel again. The hotel is even more beautiful, with meticulous attention to detail, and the staff is always fantastic: kind, fun, and super professional, even with the little ones! The expanses of green lawns provide a priceless sense of tranquility. We'll see you again soon!"

"We book a stay for 3 nights at the hotel, when we are checking in we get told that the pool is out of order and that they are not sure when it will reopen again. They are saying probably in the next coming days. I then told the receptionist that we want to cancel our reservation. Unfortunately they didn’t see the out of order pool as a problem and wouldn’t refund our money. It is 32 degrees Celsius here on Sardinia and we booked a 4 star hotel with a pool, but just got a room. After arguing with them for a time the pool is suddenly “working” again but has “wrong color” but we can use it. Ya right!"

"My wife, our two kids 9 and 11 and myself had an epic experience at the Forte Village. I had done a lot of research about the resort and had very high expectations. The resort, staff, and every thing completely exceeded my expectations. The kids love riding bikes around the resort, going from pool to pool or to the beach or the sports complex. The organized sports was top notch. The beach was beautiful, the room was clean and we had both a front and back yard. It is a true village that keeps everyone entertained. The staff everywhere were very pleasant and nice. The staff at the Buffett were amazing! The location of the resort is somewhat in the middle of nowhere, however, there really isn’t much need to go off campus if you utilize all the amenities. The spa was fantastic and a necessity when staying at the Forster village. Staying at the resort isn’t cheap, however the value is very very high. We cannot wait to come back next summer! Thank you from the Lavoignet’s."

"The hotel is nestled in a beautiful pine forest, but the access road is a real test for our Range Rover's suspension. The property is beautiful, with spacious, well-appointed common areas and very clean. The rooms are spacious, well-equipped, and spotlessly clean. Only the sofa on the balcony needs replacing. The food, both for breakfast and for lunch, is average, with no ups or downs. All the staff are friendly, helpful, and knowledgeable. The pool is very nice, clean, and well-organized. The beach is beautiful, with large, well-spaced umbrellas and clean, white sand. It's reached by a flight of steps, which isn't exactly comfortable. Unfortunately, there are some unacceptable shortcomings for a 4-star hotel: there's no beach service, so you either have to climb back up the stairs and return to the hotel or go to the nearby beach club, 200 meters away. Despite the kindness and helpfulness of the staff, there's no umbrella service. What a shame."

"A mile out . I just don’t think they understand the competition and what other hotels for even a third of the money can provide for you elsewhere . The hotel itself is pleasant enough but on the first day alone we had to stand and wait for a table at Breakfast , there was nowhere to eat dinner apart from the Buffet which was very poor with not much selection. No chance of getting a sunbed around the pool whilst a Vokda and Ginger ale is €40. I tried to explain to the management about all of the above but they just think they are great . “We have been going since 1970, lots of people come back” The sports offer is good for the kids but we won’t be coming back. Overpriced and like I say they are a mile out from providing a good service , or even a service worthy of the money they charge."

Bottom line is that Forte isn't for everyone, but of you get to know it, it's people and the way it works, it's a wonderful place and we love it, now on our 2nd time."

"Five stars isn’t enough for Le Dune at Forte Village. We came for a family vacation with our three kids (ages 5, 6, and 8) and truly did it all, and every single experience exceeded expectations. The kids were in heaven. Between the Real Madrid Football Academy, Barbie Wonderland, go karts, the Nature Park, bowling, the circus, and even scuba diving, there was never a dull moment. Every activity was well run, safe, and genuinely fun. Our kids are still talking about it. The resort itself is stunning. Our rooms were clean, spacious, and beautiful, and the restaurants were all fantastic. We never had a single disappointing meal. The designer shopping selection was incredible, and my wife found some beautiful pieces from the boutiques. One of our favorite memories was simply riding bicycles together as a family across the huge Forte Village property. What truly sets Le Dune apart, though, is the staff. Everyone was warm, attentive, and went out of their way to make our stay effortless. A special thank you to Sara, Marta, and Rosenda, who took such wonderful care of our family throughout the trip. We will absolutely be back, and we’ve already recommended Le Dune to all of our friends. If you’re looking for a luxury resort where every member of the family, from age 5 to adult, has the trip of a lifetime, this is it."

"This place is like paradise. The apartment was amazing, very comfortable and nice and quiet. The staff at the resort are all very friendly and accommodating. The food in the restaurant is outstanding and you can get a 4 course meal for 50 euros which for the standard of the meal was very good value. The reception staff were very efficient and friendly and helped us book a hire car and a taxi for the return to the airport. Nora and Pula are within a short walking distance. The ruins in Nora are definately worth a visit and the hotel provide complimentary transport if required. There are a few lovely beaches nearby but we hired a car for 3 days so were able to adventure further afield. The pool area was beautiful and there were always plenty of sun beds available. Towels are provided for use by the pool if required. The gardens are immaculate and I would like to give a shout out to the gardeners who were always very polite and friendly when I saw them. There are a few supermarkets nearby within walking distance. One suggestion I would make is that it would be nice if a dishcloth, washing up liquid and dishwasher tablets were provided. It's best to pack your own and take these items with you. We stayed for 1 week but felt it wasn't long enough so will be looking to return next year."

"We started our trip at this hotel and it remained our favorite. Beautiful setting, lovely garden, immaculate condition. The area around the pool is very pleasant and well laid out. The room was comfortably sized, in a Sardinian style, and very clean. A peaceful place that invites relaxation. Friendly and smiling staff. The breakfast was plentiful and varied. The town center is a few minutes' walk away with restaurants, bars, and a few shops. Excellent piña coladas! ;)"

"I booked the room at Hotel Flamingo last year because I was seeing Sting at Villa Forte. I am now booking to stay there again this year (even thought there is not a Sting concert) because the Hotel Flamingo left such a wonderful impression. After I told him that I had Celiac's disease (allergic to gluten), the head of the food services made sure that there was an incredible gluten free breakfast waiting for me each morning....AND, he also informed me each evening of what was definitely gluten-free. The assistants who helped me to and from my room with my bags were also very helpful and gracious. And the front desk...well, these are professional Hotel Directors. I can't wait to return there this year! ...and send out a message in a bottle."
