The hotel is a 10-15 minute walk to restaurants, bars, activities, etc. Highly recommend staying here if you are a solo traveler, a group of friends, or a couple."

The hotel owner, who I was lucky enough to meet, has a true passion for upcycling and repurposing. Check out the unusual lampshades throughout the reception and bar/eating areas. With a new wing opening imminently this hotel really is a hidden gem of a resting place for a discerning traveller. Yes you can be woken by the morning prayers sung with heart from a local mosque, but this is likely the same in 95% of any resort or hotel in the world's largest Muslim populated country. "

"Since our flight was cancelled, we spontaneously booked this beautiful hotel, about 30–40 minutes from the airport. We were warmly welcomed with drinks and snacks. In the evening, we ate at the hotel – everything was delicious and very fresh. The dishes and vegetables come from the hotel's own garden. I would book this hotel again anytime and can only recommend it."

"The room and hotel location were both great. However, the staff were a bit odd. They left a yogurt in the fridge on the first day, and it was gone the next day. They also took a guest's motorcycle helmet, I don't know what they were doing. On the last night, a group of people stayed next door, and they were very noisy. The staff didn't do anything about it, making it difficult to sleep. Breakfast was simple, but filling. Not particularly delicious."

"I really loved this place because it was right in front of the beach, the rooms where very clean, it has a very nice pool, and the breakfast was delicious. I went around town and looked at several hotels before choosing this one. Many smelled of moisture, the walls were dirty, had broken pools, and where overall not as well kept as this hotel. I was able to bargain a good deal for several nights too! Above all, the staff was very friendly and made my stay very pleasant. Highly recommend!"
