Sunset Plaza Beach Resort Puerto Vallarta All Inclusive

The Service was incredible. The waiters and all staff were very friendly. The hotel is chill and it was not very busy during my visit. I always found room next to the pool, or in the beach and at the restaurants.

The sunset Plaza is a perfect little boutique resort with all the amenities that you may need. The quality of food is outstanding as is the service. The soa treatment with the 80 minute massage, full body, scrub, and facial was the best I’ve ever had.! Selene has the magic touch! I would absolutely recommend this hotel and plan on going back sometime in the future!!

Another great stay at Sunset Plaza. The service really stands out here. Warm and friendly people make sure that your every need is met. Shout out to our butlers Mario and Reuben who surprised me with cake and song for my birthday. Stand out waiters German and Rolando joined in. Other great waiters were Arleth and Juve. Hector at the pool bar made us laugh and introduced us to tasty new drinks when we tired of all the usuals. We really enjoyed the food. There are enough choices to eat for a week and not get bored. At breakfast they serve a delicious fresh squeezed green juice, a mix of fruit and veg, that we drank daily. Lunch is my favorite with tacos and enchiladas but if you prefer a sandwich they have a great BLT or Club. Dinners rotate in themes like Italian or Mediterranean. My favorites were the Mexican Fiesta on Friday and Spanish night. This is a relaxing place, not a partier paradise. If you like to lounge by the pool or on the beach you’ll be happy. If you want spa services or activities that’s available too. It’s also good for families and has a kid pool and child activities. There’s an adults only pool if you need it. The view can’t be beat, an ever changing landscape of water, light and clouds. The play of shapes and colors entertained us 24/7. I recommend checking it out.

We spent a week, from August 18th to August 29th. We had two rooms as my wife and I were visiting with our adult sons. Now, as to why a five star review. Basically it comes down to the folks we interacted with on a daily basis. I'll mention some of them specifically below, but for those wanting to determine if this resort is for you I can share that literally everyone we encountered went out of their way to provide the absolute best of experiences. The beach was well maintained and as for a beach, hint know that the waters are more tranquil in the morning and in the afternoon more wavy. So essentially we swam in the mornings and then enjoyed the surf in the afternoons before hanging out in the pool. Moving on, the food choices were very good as they not only offered quick snack-like options, 24 hours a day, that were tasty, the sit down restaurants offered a relaxed to high-end atmosphere depending on your preference. Our favorite, and that's saying something as all was terrific, was Luciano's as it allowed my family and I the opportunity for quality conversations that were punctuated by several courses of delicious dishes. Now that list of folks that all contributed to our fantastic experience. Yoli and Juseth in the 24 hour snack shop. Francisco, Alan, Hugo, Enrique and Ricardo at Luciano's. Josua and Louis, at the front and Jenifer who took care of our room daily. Besides this Alex, and I'm sorry I don't quite recall her name at the pizza restaurant, were great folks too and they definitely knew how to make dough and cook a great pizza. There were others too, and I'm sorry I do not have their names. All of you are very much appreciated.

We stayed at Sunset Plaza for a week in early August. The rooms were clean and well maintained. Staff was incredible! We were well taken care of from the moment the car pulled up to the lobby. We opted to do the all-inclusive package on a day-to-day basis, but only did it for one day. We ate out and toured the city all the other days. Food and service was great, but we didn't want to limit ourselves to eating only at the resort. We will definitely stay there again!

Everything was very good, it's clean and cozy, the room was big and tidy, also the maid went every day to clean it. The room has a jacuzzi and kitchen. My family and I love it. We'd like to go to nex summer. The hotel is near of the downtown, 15 min aprox in car. The Uber is more expensive than Didi's app but I recomended to use the bus, $10 mx adult and $5mx kid.
