Great hotel! Small, close to everything you need. Very clean and staff very friendly!

This hotel is in good location for the beach and town

We stayed on the 3 floor in the Natchasol (hotel) part.great view of the beach thank you for placing us on the top floor after our request in advance much appreciated. Great view espeacially in evenings with a sunny balcony from mid morning till late evening.The hotel its self had a fresh modern look it has a very large rooftop area with jacuzxi...it also has a pool area downstairs with jacuzzi beautifully lit at night in neon blue.. Rooms were nice too the bathroom was spacious with plenty shelf space shower area could be doing with grout refresh and tidy....beds comfortable ,and room cleaning was on offer 5 days of a week ....the rooms were cleaned to a basic standard but not thoroughly...the holiday was booked as a self catering stay however although there was a mini fridge with small box freezer,microwave, hob .there was no toaster which was dissapointing as I would say that that would have been a very basic ask for a self catering holiday...It was also a issue talked about with fellow guest we spoke to...On complaining to the management she strongly stated that it was the owners rule that couldn't be changed. I asked a reason for it and she said its just the rules ,and she cut the conversation saying adamently.t That's it there was no negotiation .apparently, there are toasters in The Yaisasol, which is fully self catering.....The location is good though hilly. there's are steep steps then a bridge to get down to down to the pathway to the beach and where the Spar shop(lovey bakery in shop) is maybe around a 6-8 minute walk ...its a steep climb back up, gets easier as the holiday goes on ....there is also paths to walk to both the beach snd commercial centre these take longer but are easier than climbing steep stairs....there are also taxis ready available everywhere if your mobility is limited...we never took them but heard they are around 3 euro to the main centre. Must do is take the ferry to Mogan 13 Euro per person return from the marina it a lovely trip sea air is refreshing we seen flying fish the twice, we went by standing at the bottom part of the front of the ferry..Market day is Friday although busy and lots of stalls it jam packed .it's also nice to go on a non marker day where it quieter and you can take in the peacefulness and charm of Mogan.Amadores beach is another lovely walk. At the last part of the marina take the steps up onto the pathway it takes you a coastal walk with great views to Amadores again lots of lovely resturaunts and touristy shops.....Puerto Rico is all about walking and stairs if you dont take a taxi but its intresting and lots to do....would definately return if price is right.

As I lay by the pool on our last day here, I thought this was a good time to write a review. We have loved every minute of our stay. Breakfast buffet has lots of choice, banana pancakes highly recommend! Staff are really friendly and helpful. We locked ourselves out of the safe, they came really quickly to sort it. The hotel is spotless and small enough to be a quiet and peaceful place, the pool area is beautiful and clean. Lots of steps down to the town, but that helped burn off the aforementioned pancakes! Only qualm is the towels in the room were a bit small and cheap, but that's a very small moan which didn't affect our stay. There is a luggage store and we have booked a complimentary half hour slot to shower and change before heading to the airport. We absolutely loved this place!

Ok first off, there is a €100 damage deposit which has to be paid by card, so you need to factor this into your spending. If everything is ok with your room, you’ll get this back. They said 2-3 days, but ours was back on my card less than 24 hours after we’d gotten home. Now onto the hotel. This hotel is like staying at a spa, looks great, smells great and the staff are really friendly and courteous. It’s clean and it’s tidy. A great first impression. We booked because it is ‘adult only’ and boy is that the way forward. The room was a good size, you get two cards one for the door the other for the electric. The AC is great and works all the time whether you have the patio door open or not. The shower room and toilet again a good size, two sinks and the shower is really strong (I would advise putting a towel on the floor as the screen is a little too short if you have it on full power.) The beds are firm, but only have a sheet on them, I think there may have been blankets in the wardrobe, but we didn’t need them. There is a TV, but it only gets Spanish channels, and a wireless access point, so the internet is really good. The room has a small kitchen area with a two ring stove with an extractor and a combi microwave and grill. You might not be able to cook a three course meal, but it will do for a quick meal. The patio has its own parasol umbrella, a table and chairs with depending on where you are, a good view of the beach. Rooms are serviced 5 times a week, Wednesday and Sunday being the only days they aren’t. The pool area is decent size with enough loungers for most of the residents. It doesn’t start getting the Sun until later in the morning but it’s still quite open. While the pool might not be an Olympic size, it’s still big enough to do a few lengths and cool off, a bonus is the Jacuzzi at one end. If pools aren’t your thing and you just want to lie in the Sun there’s always the sun terrace on the fourth floor, this has more sun loungers and also has a Jacuzzi. The bar has a good range of drinks and snacks but closes relatively early, this is understandable as there only seems to be reception staff present at evenings. We opted to stay bed and breakfast. The breakfast selection is smaller than you were expected than that of a larger hotel but still pretty varied, there is a good selection of hot breakfast items, fruit, yoghurt, cold meat and cheeses and pastries. You can also order from a menu at the tables which includes things like bacon, fried eggs, scrambled eggs, crêpes, and omelettes with a variety of additions. The hotel is about a 10 minute walk from the busy shopping centre, mostly downhill, however that walk back up isn’t quite so pleasant sometimes. There is a flight of stairs right outside the hotel which takes you down towards the beach which again will take you about 10 minutes depending on how fast you walk. Im not 100% sure how this hotel has been awarded 4 stars, I would maybe give it 3/3.5 at the most. I arrived late one evening as a solo traveller, unpacked and headed to bed after a long day. As I was climbing into bed, I noticed there were stains on the extremely small sheets. The room is 2 singles beds pushed together. The sheets are barely single and no good if you like to get cosy on a night and want to keep warm. After a day out, one day I had come back to my room, been cleaned, but once again, I found dark hairs in my bedding and again the same stains. Either all sheets have the same stains or the bedding is not changed while you are there and comes with free hair from the cleaners. Breakfast is a very small selection, nice but maybe not worth the extra money you pay. The bathroom is fine with a walk-in shower and 2 sinks, double wardrobes with hangers, a sofa in the room, a TV with nothing good on, and only canarian chanels. Small kitchen area with a fridge that needed a clean, kettle, hob, and microwave. The balcony and the views are unreal!! Pool area and roof terrace i can not fault they were kept clean and tidy! When you arrive you have to pay £100 deposite for the room encase anything gets broken. When leaving you have to be out of the room by 12 pm, there is no chance you can keep it on, luckily they do have a shower room you can book if you have a late flight and want to freshen up. Just a short 10 minute walk to the beach, there are steps all the way down. Lots in walking distance if you aren't afraid of walking.
