One night at Astoria Palawan is simply not enough! I had an amazing time during my short stay and truly believe that at least 5 days are needed to fully enjoy everything the resort has to offer—especially the Astoria Waterpark, which is fun, exciting, and well-maintained.The entire resort atmosphere is peaceful and beautifully kept, perfect for relaxing or adventure-filled days. The buffet dinner was very delicious—great variety and flavors! The fire dance performance—it was absolutely mesmerizing and added a magical touch to the evening. However, I noticed the breakfast buffet lacked halal-friendly options. I had only chicken adobo, egg, and fish only. Most of the main dishes, including the soup and hotdogs, contained pork, which may be a concern for Muslim or halal-conscious guests. I hope they consider offering more inclusive meal options in the future. Special thanks to Ms. Princess Gaflu at the front desk for her warm and professional service, and Alonso, the attendant at the waterpark, who went above and beyond to guide me, take photos and videos, and make me feel welcome. His friendly attitude made my experience even more memorable! If I didn’t have prior appointments in Manila, I would have stayed longer—and I definitely will next time! For me, Palawan means Astoria. Not El Nido. Just Astoria. It’s the best place to stay in the province—hands down! Can’t wait to come back.

The place is beautiful and quiet. The best place to Experience Puerto Princesa Bay is right here in Marina de Bay. The check in and check out is easy. Highly recommended.

Our family had a fantastic time at Astoria Palawan! The staff were well-groomed and very accommodating. The food was delicious, the pool and waterpark were clean and fun, and our room was stylish and cozy. The resort is packed with amenities, making it perfect for both kids and adults. Truly ideal for families—we can’t wait to come back!

We stayed in astoria for 4 days. Their amenities are nice but what really turned me off is their service. As soon as we arrived in the check in counter, we didn’t feel welcomed. A man was helping us check in while 4 women in white shirts were behind him just staring at us. I understand that they’re probably training these women but i don’t think they understand how uncomfortable it is to just have everyone staring at us. The customer service at the restaurant was terrible as well. Everytime we ordered or asked for something, the person delivering the food expected us to rearrange our utensils and food while she waited there on the side. Di ba kayo marunong magsalita? These people need to work on communicating and taking initiative. Also don’t order their room service food, I am not a picky eater but wow it’s so bad. Breakfast buffet and dinner buffet were decent

An excellent hotel it  is such a unique experience my first impression was that of visiting a Disneyland hotel with the welcome and shuttle bus transport to your room. Accommodation was superb so lovely the food was great and hospitality second to none. My only downside was the beach which was not good and we couldn’t swim in the sea because of jellyfish. You are pretty much stuck in the resort as it is in the middle of nowhere but so happy that we made the decision to travel the one and a half taxi journey from Puerto Princesa to get here I would highly recommend.

It was absolutely worth booking this hotel again for my family. We stayed in Villa 102, which had a stunning ocean view that made the experience even more special. The resort also has its own waterpark, where my family ended up spending most of our time. It was a fun and relaxing getaway, perfect for both kids and adults. Highly recommend this resort for families!

Staffs in the nest reception not organized in checking in. If you like the aqua park or have kids the hotel is good for you, but if you want peace and calm then better find somewhere else.
