Massive and clean rooms!
Breakfast is good. Staff are really friendly and helpful - they arranged Tuktuk for us daily because we were diving at Sabang Area. If you’re here to dive around Sabang Area, then it’s quite a distance. They have their own dive shop too if you prefer that.

My daughter and I visited from Japan!
We are not fluent in English, so we were very worried on the way to Puerto Galera and even before we arrived at the hotel, but once we arrived, all the hotel staff were very helpful, so we had a comfortable stay without any worries!
The location, activities, food, people, dogs, cats, everything was great!
There are very few Japanese people there, but if you have the chance, I hope you will come to Puerto Galera from Japan and visit the Edgewater Hotel!

I really enjoyed our stay here. Close enough to the hustle and bustle of Sabang beach but far enough away to relax and sleep in peaceful surroundings. We had a garden room and it was perfect. Clean, bright and modern. Breakfast was superb. The staff super efficient and friendly. No hesitation in recommending this place.

Edgewater is the perfect escape. The service at the resort can’t be matched, arranging every detail, and catering to special requests. The facilities are very well maintained. The rooms are spotless and the beds are very comfortable. The dive masters are knowledgeable and professional, each dive I felt safe and experienced something new. Try a night dive! The food is delicious; had amazing Canadian steak dinner. Thanks to for the entire team for a wonderful stay.

I had a great dive trip in the Philippines this past April and stayed at Edgewater Dive & Spa Resort. I was with a large, organized diving group. The property was nice with a big dock and great dive set-up area. Room was nice and clean with hot showers, a nice air conditioning unit and a mini-fridge for storing leftovers or snacks. Although not really beachy, there is a nice pool that was kept very clean, and a nice seating area for meal and a bar. The food was good overall but with just a couple choices for each meal, I think the resort may want to consider more buffet-style meals if they host large groups again in the future. The staff was wonderful - kind, courteous, responsive. I will say that I wish the owner was a little kinder to his staff. We heard him be somewhat rude to his staff on numerous occasions and it made a lot of folks on our trip very uncomfortable. He was great with the guests though.
