Clean and acceptable for a lower-tier hotel. There were some quirky things that were interesting but didn't ruin the stay. The rooms were fairly quiet from other guests, but you could hear people walking around in other rooms at times/walking in your own room did cause some of the furniture to rattle. The shower head was only chest high for an average height adult. The online pictures do make it look nicer than it is, but it was clean. For those traveling with children, there is no lock on the pool gate, and there are rooms that open right into the pool, so it is open 24/7. The breakfast was good. There is no elevator, so stairs need to be taken to get to rooms on different floors. The main entrance is on the second floor, and you need to descend a flight of stairs from the parking lot to get to the entrance. You will need to carry your luggage in by hand due to the stairs.

Excellent day for family getaway!
The staff was super friendly, very conscientious about taking care and meeting all our needs! Room was super clean and updated since our last stay! Breakfast was good lots of choices, beds are super comfortable and facility was quiet. Would highly recommend anyone to stay!

Bed was very comfortable, Liked having nightstands on both sides of bed. Lots of electrical outlets. Built on hillside so parking was wonky; had steps down to main entrance but ramp on the end. Needed Walgreens run and found 24-hour one close. Friendly staff. Drawbacks: Hard to find in the dark. Lit sign would have helped. Fridge needed defrosting, was so frozen over the door would not close. No protein, just carbs for breakfast. No wifi when we were there (working on it). A bit rustic, not upgraded. Constant fan on AC/heater shut off shortly. A bit of chemical smell to room.

Our stay was excellent. The food, service, hygiene, Breakfast. Everything was perfect. All our special requests were fulfilled nicely. "TY" at the reception desk was very polite and made every effort to make our stay memorable. Excellent experience

-If you’re not going to service anything but bread options for breakfast then you need to make sure your toaster works.
-For being on the third floor the toilet is weak flushing.

We chose this hotel for its proximity to the St. Luke’s Sport & Event Centre. For location and price point, it was perfect. The staff were friendly. Things to take note of: There’s a ramp on far side, to second level (which is reception, breakfast etc). If you have mobility issues, make that KNOWN and ask for main floor/second level. There are a lot of stairs, otherwise, and no elevator. My boys needed the gym (it was advertised) but upon arrival we found boxes of equipment, unassembled, with “no one to assemble” it - so not sure how long that project has been sitting there. We had to find the Planet Fitness in Duluth. Wi-Fi is almost non-existent so if you need to be working on your trip, this hotel is not for you.
