Beautiful location. The road in can use a bit of repair. The food is good just not outstanding. The drinks are good just not outstanding. The breakfast was again ok not outstanding. The pancakes were cooked yesterday. The omelette was more scrambled eggs. The pool has many missing tiles but a nice locations

We really enjoyed our 9 night stay at Las Verandas. Having never been to Roatan, I was debating whether or not to stay here or the Kimpton. My husband & I were traveling with our 2 teenage boys so we opted for space, a golf course & breakfast included. I’m glad we did. Las Verandas was beautiful, just like the photos. The staff was very accommodating as well. We had a 2 bedroom villa on the beach with a plunge pool & 2 bathrooms. It’s very private. It felt like an Airbnb but with resort amenities. The food was excellent & so were the drinks. The gym was never crowded. It had treadmills, stationary bikes, free weights, some gym equipment & was located at The Beach Club that had 2 additional pools. It actually felt like we were the only ones at the resort. We did spend a day in West Bay & after, I was glad we opted to stay where we did. I’m not into crowded places with people hustling you on the beach & that’s what West Bay was. If you want tranquility, peace & quiet, this is the best place for that. There is a lot of sea grass & it’s very shallow, so we didn’t spend much time in the ocean. Also, there are a lot of sand flies, but that’s everywhere in Roatan so just make sure you take bug spray; the good stuff. The resort also has “Off” by the pool. Be sure to use it.

Our recent stay of four days at Las Verandas Hotel & Villas was very nice. With the exception of one service blunder in the resort's bar, our stay was very good. They have a couple of nice pools and a good beach with lots to do. We particularly enjoyed the restaurant. We had a wonderful server, Grachelle, who went out of her way to make sure our service was perfect and we had everything we wanted or needed. By far, our best experience at the resort was due to the chef, Luis. I met with him after I mentioned to Grachelle that I was gluten-free and not by choice. Luis came to our table every time we either ate in the restaurant or at one of the event meals (we were there for a wedding). He took great care to ensure I had no food issues and went out of his way a few times to prepare something special for me. Luis and Grachelle made this an experience we will not forget.

Las Verandas resort is stunning elegance. The resort is spacious and pristine with perfectly manicured rolling green lawns throughout on down to their own private beach. The two pools are the money shot of the resort. Each with infinity edges overlooking the ocean. The Palapa Bar at the pool has great seating all with views. Nice for cocktails watching the sunset. The main restaurant for breakfast has real espresso machine and they make a perfect cappuccino. The villas are big and modern with tons of windows and very nicely furnished. The king bed was super comfy. Living area is great for relaxing. Patios are also large with several seating areas. WiFi worked very well. I had 3 hour zoom meetings every day and perfect connection the whole time. Everything is tight and clean. The staff is very friendly and helpful. During my stay they had a steak night where they set up grills out in the patio and grilled tomahawks, ribeyes and a few other really nice cuts. I’d go back just for that. I’d go back anytime. It’s a perfect place to just Zen out for a few days. I even had a hummingbird nest on my patio with baby hummingbirds. Magical. I loved it. Can’t wait to go back.

This place is beautiful. Our room was incredible and super clean. Had a two-bedroom suite with a pool. the views of sunset were amazing. Not to mention you wake up looking at the ocean. The bathrooms were huge!!! The sitting area was very comfortable and there was a lot of outdoor private space. We loved our room. The kitchen was fully stocked if you wanted to cook, but we ate out all meals. Our breakfast was included in the room cost which was nice and the food was delicious. We did have a fridge in which we kept stocked with cold drinks. The staff were more than accommodating with anything you needed. It was nice to be able to use the beach club next door as well. More pools than you can use in a day! The workout area has an incredible view and plenty of equipment. One of the best parts about our stay was that it was super quiet. There were not a lot of people which we loved. The only downside was the ability to swim in the ocean without having to walk over grass in the water.
