The hotel itself, rooms and location are absolutely top notch! And the top restaurant and bar food was super nice and tasty! Views are stunning.
However, our checkin experince was the worst I have ever seen in any hotel ever. I booked a room at 9am for the same day and up until 8:30 PM we could not check in. Nothing was offered to us by the receptionist, not even a free drink or water at the bar or so while we waited with our luggage and watched people eat in the booked out restaurants.
This checkin experience was not worthy of a hotel in that price range and class and initially spoiled the 5 night stay we had.

The staff truly care, making every detail special. Incredible food, spa, and infinity pool overlooking the bay. You leave feeling refreshed and inspired. Without a doubt, the most beautiful resort experience in Hawaii!

This hotel is expensive, but worth it. The rooms are spacious and well appointed. The vibe and decor of this entire resort is on point and relaxing. We visited in January and it felt pretty empty, we easily found lounges by the pools and the beach at any time. The #1 thing that keeps me thinking about this resort (9 months later) is the scenery and views from the hotel. Absolutely magical, you won’t ever want to leave!

We fell in love with One Hotel Hanalai Bay! My wife and I just got back from an amazing stay at One Hotel Hanalai Bay, and we're already talking about when we can go back. Honestly, the entire trip was perfect, and a lot of that is thanks to the hotel and its incredible staff. From the minute we walked in, we felt so welcomed. The front desk agent Sudi was so friendly and helpful, not just checking us in but also giving us great tips on what to do. The service was top-notch everywhere. We ordered in-room dining a few times, and the food was just as good as what we had at the restaurant downstairs—and every single dish we tried was fantastic. But the real magic was just being there. The views of Hanalai Bay are absolutely stunning and everywhere you look, it's just breathtaking. We loved all the activities too. Whether we were just chilling out or exploring, we always had something fun to do. This place is more than a hotel; it’s an experience. We can't say enough good things about it!

We stayed at 1 Hotels Hanalei Bay for 5 nights and it was truly outstanding. The hotel and grounds are immaculate and beautiful. The staff was very friendly - every single staff person we spoke with had a smile and warm demeanor. The drinks and food were top knotch. And the views - this hotel is situated in one of the most beautiful natural settings in the world. I give 1 Hotels Hanalei Bay the highest of recommendations.
