Hotel Plamena Palace

Hotel Plamena Palace ★★★★

📍 Tsentar, ul. "Oazis" 13, Primorsko

"We were overall very satisfied with our stay at Plamena Palace. The hotel is in a great location on Oasis Street, just a short walk from both the beach and the center of Primorsko. Everything ran smoothly. The rooms were clean and comfortable, the food was delicious, and the pool area was perfect for relaxing. I’d especially like to praise the staff and service—everyone was very friendly and helpful. The atmosphere throughout the hotel was calm and pleasant, making it easy to relax. At night, the noise level was low, so we could sleep without any disturbance. The only minor downside to an otherwise excellent stay was the weak Wi-Fi connection, which could be improved. Despite that small detail, I’m giving it a full 5/5 stars and would definitely recommend staying here."

"the room is small, but clean and cozy. The bed and pillows are extremely comfortable. The food in the restaurant is delicious and varied enough to have a choice for every taste. The show cooking dishes are incredibly tasty and the lady who prepares them is great. The staff is very kind. The hotel is very close to the beach and the paths in the forest are great for a cool afternoon walk."

"Reception staff does not speak english. It was a problem as they gave us wrong accommodation. We had two separate apartments. Both apartments should have a bedroom and a living room with kitchen. We have been given just a room. No apartment. Just classic double bed hotel room. We did try to explain to reception staff what we paid for. Fortunately, probably a lady manager, appeared from nowhere and she explained to reception staff what type of accommodation we booked. Well, she did not even look at us, no greeting, no apologies. But, eventually we had apartments we booked. So, issue sorted. Apartments were ok, old dated, but we had a beautiful sea view from our terrace. The second apartment where my boyfriend and his mom stayed, was not so great. But, not bad. I will post some pictures here for you to see the views, terrace and the cons. Food - breakfast was cold, cold bacon, cold eggs, cold scrambled eggs, cold, cold. Hotel is very near to the beach but if you like a city holiday feeling don't stay there as this hotel is far from the promenade and Primorsko city. You can still reach it by walk if you want but there is nothing to see near to this hotel. I want to say, the location was not a problem for us as we wanted something like this, very close to the beach. Let me tell you my experience - hotel staff, overall is very unprofessional, bored, rude. If you ask for something, smile on, you will get bored look, with expression " Why you bother me, what do you want". We will not return in to this hotel, as for that money you can get much better, believe me. Anyway, we had a great holiday as we made it great and we did enjoy every single day. I wish the same to you."

"We went as a couple with Club Marmara for 1 week in September. Thanks to the hosts (Papon, Louane, Hugo, Ewen and Chloé) who are really welcoming, dynamic and for their hilarious shows! The rooms are spacious and very clean, and are equipped with a terrace and air conditioning. Be careful, the bathroom is slightly slippery. A big thank you to the cleaning teams who do a perfect job. The all-inclusive formula offers breakfast/lunch/dinner but also lots of drinks with or without alcohol at different bars (the bartenders are adorable and mix the cocktails correctly) and a snack with waffles and pizzas (fruit would have been appreciated). The food is good but quite greasy. There is always a cold salad buffet, and a hot buffet with varied dishes. The waitresses and cooks are very nice and do their best to satisfy us. They offer different theme evenings, including one with local food (very good!) The outdoor swimming pool is large and well appointed. Possibility of borrowing towels from reception for a €10 deposit. The sea is at the end of the complex, and we have our feet in the water for a long time. However, deckchairs are payable extra at reception for the day. Big plus: swimming is supervised, both in the pool and in the sea. The reception and management are very responsive and speak very good French or at least English. It is possible to withdraw money in the lobby. The nearest town is Primorsko, it can be reached by the beach or by the sidewalk along the road, it is about a 30 minute walk. There are restaurants and beach and souvenir shops. To visit the surrounding area, there are several excursions organized by Marmara which we did not try, but we rented a car from Dimitar, a Bulgarian who speaks French very well and gives very good advice for visiting the region (Burgas, Sozopol) at more than competitive prices. We loved our stay, and the quality/price ratio was very good! Thank you to all the teams for their kindness! The only downsides are my medical visit to the center of the complex because of severe nausea, where I was given no solution apart from going to Primorsko to buy medicines (with an incomprehensible list in Bulgarian), the places which deserve a new and the food quite greasy so heavy after a week."

"The highlight of our stay was definitely the sea, which was remarkably clean and beautiful. The beach was pleasant, and even though we encountered jellyfish one day, they didn't sting. Unfortunately, the rest of the experience fell short. Although the room was recently renovated, it was not properly cleaned before our arrival and had visible mold and rust. The hotel grounds were poorly maintained, with broken sidewalks, unkempt lawns, and an outdated feel reminiscent of the former regime. The staff, especially in the bar and restaurant, seemed completely exhausted and lack of friendliness. Additionally, having the beach bar located 300 meters away from the beach was quite inconvenient. Beautiful nature cannot fully make up for the lack of hygiene, poor upkeep, and tired atmosphere."

"An excellent atmosphere in this hotel! Thanks to the Marmara animators! We unfortunately had 24 hours of non-stop rain and the dilapidation of the hotel proved its limits: infiltration in the glass roofs, flooded bar, flow through the ceilings in the bathroom with water running down the power sockets, water flowing from the light fixtures etc.. the establishment is in dire need of renovation, however the management is responsive in handling problems and apart from this very dated side everything is clean, the bedding correct (however small beds and very narrow duvet), the towels changed every day, the repetitive catering at the starters and very correct on the hot dishes. The all inclusive very wide in terms of cocktails (well measured!!!) a very wide choice, the spa very pleasant and the massages at the top. The beach is beautiful but deckchairs pay 10 euros per day, the sea is rarely calm, the waves are very present..... The hotel swimming pool is beautiful, very large, clean, supervised, there are sufficient deckchairs. The neighboring town 20 minutes on foot or free hotel shuttle twice a week or taxis at negotiated prices and with no surprises (this should be pleasantly underlined). Uninteresting town of Primorsko, only shops for tourists. In terms of excursions, we only went to Sozopol after visiting Ravadinovo Castle, an astonishing place, the town still has old wooden houses, a superb chapel at the remains of the old town and a market for tourists where it It would be difficult not to find happiness there. Be careful, the euro is not king even if Bulgaria is part of the European Union the currency is still in leva (around 1 euro = 1.95 leva) there are not that many merchants accepting the euro.. We returned yesterday my head was still in the great atmosphere of this place the season ends the animators being only 5 left but very invested in their way of making our stay as pleasant as possible, a big thank you to them, we will keep excellent memories of our stay and the inconveniences experienced will quickly be forgotten. Enjoy your stay to the next vacationers"
