It is also walking distance to the Bowling Alley with a bar and grill. You will feel safe in this small town living and there are no traffic lights in the town. It is located 3 blocks from the Root River and Bike Trails, that goes through other small towns. Preston is know as Minnesota’s Trout Capitol. It has a 9 - hole fishing course. It also has a Public Swimming pool costing $5.00 per person. Lanesboro is a 15 minute drive which has shopping, Live Theatre, and a Fish Hatchery. Harmony is about a 10 minute drive and known for its Amish tours.
