The hotel is 4 star hotel, but still nice furnished. Little bit rustic style. Location in beautifull. Breakfast is quite good. There was enough food, but I didn´t like that birds could fly inside the room. Beach is really good. The stuff were really friendly and they organized a private trip to La Digue at a short notice

Hotel closed for renovation until March of next year. This means you get the excellent beach and cove to yourself, but must enter by sea (we snorkeled there from our lodging just up the bend at La Saline.

the area of the reserve is located in a very beautiful site. The rooms are very good, take those facing the sea. The common areas of the hotel are really from another era and urgently need to be renovated. The restaurant is excellent Be careful there are rays. You have to be very careful.

BEWARE - Staff in this hotel steal guests belongings. We came here as part of a tour party and staff stole my wife's belongings during lunch. We approached management and asked for help, they simply ignored us.

Excellent stay at Domaine de la Réserve, we stayed there for 4 nights. We had the beachfront deluxe room with a breathtaking view every morning of a private beach, rocky and suitable for snorkeling, very good location, 15 minutes from Anse Lazio. you can go to Anse Volbert beach on foot across Paradise Sun, the neighboring hotel with friendly staff from reception to catering. special thanks to the restaurant team, Madeleine, Mikaella, .... who took good care of our 1 year old baby, even walking with him in the stroller. They were great!! Many thanks to the restaurant team and room service who surprised us with an excellent surprise on the occasion of my wife's birthday. we will come back without the slightest doubt!

The very beautiful location is ultimately very hot and humid, as the hotel is nestled in a cove surrounded by a real jungle. We were given the room with the loudest air conditioning on earth. It couldn't be changed and we kept it for three nights. The paddle fan was not positioned on the bed, perhaps! because they put the four-poster bed. The bath water was yellowish but they guaranteed us that it was drinkable. As for the food, I must say that it is certainly of an excellent standard. I give the restaurant an 8. But even there there is no fan and so you eat quickly just wanting to escape to your rooms. Same thing at the bar and you really suffer a lot. Sore point about breakfast: only one coffee machine for everyone. It is not served but customers have to get it resulting in a queue. In the pool they put a maximum of 10 sunbeds and all you can do is dive and run away. They had placed a row of sunbeds in front of our room and from there we could admire the sunset. Unfortunately Praslin is infested with sandflies and the suffering from the stings is enormous, it will completely ruin your holiday. The travel agent who introduced himself is from Creole who offers two trips of which I have given a negative review.

Oh dear :( We stayed here for 4 nights on our honeymoon after a fantastic hotel stay and wedding on La Digue, hoping that we would find a fantastic luxury hotel experience for such a special occasion. I'm sure this hotel was 'luxury' once, but it's now all looking a little tired. The package we booked advertised an 'In room welcome with delicacies' which we did not receive. It also advertised a 'Special Honeymoon dinner' which we had to go to reception to ask for, as none of the staff mentioned it. None of this made us feel very special. The room was spatious and the bathroom area very nice. However, the air conditioning unit was very old and loud, it could not be left on at night as you would not get any sleep! The wi-fi was terrible and hardly ever worked. The bed was very hard and quite uncomfortable. The pillows were awful, they looked and felt very old. There was no bedside table on one side of the bed, so we had to use a make shift chair! The food was all buffet style. It was mostly decent food, but I would not expect a buffet at such an expensive hotel. The wine also seemed very expensive and over-priced for the quality. All in all, we found the hotel very expensive considering the quality. Some of the staff were quite surly and in general we did not find it a friendly place to be. Even the Curieuse snorkelling trip offered by reception seemed very overpriced for what we received. We were taken to Island and dumped on the beach with no offer of any instructions or information about the island at all. As this was our honeymoon we were sadly quite disappointed.

Very well-kept structure spread over a large park with private beach inside a very suggestive bay. Beautiful sea but shoes are needed for safer access. Disappointing snorkeling. The rooms are very well kept with a very large bathroom. Good quality restaurant with tables over the water which make meals more evocative. In general we appreciated the comfort and quiet of the place, never a moment of crowding. Amazing sunset on the beach.
