The cuisine in the main restaurant leaves something to be desired, but in the a la carte restaurants it is surprising.

The club staff did a great job. Emile never stopped smiling and taking care of us. Ivan also took care of every need outside. Gustavo did our reservations and paperwork with diligence. The beach was better than most places. The cheese balls bread things for breakfast was the best and coffee was excellent.

Recent stay at the resort from Jan 3-8. We live in Boston but I’m originally from the south of Brazil and visited the resort with my family of 8. We got two rooms and got upgraded at check in to pool view. Great value for the money. Food was outstanding, activities were engaging, spa is a must see (even though it’s an extra expense). The highlight is def the staff! Amazing people, from the time you check in to getting back to Salvador. My husband only speaks English and they found a way to communicate when I wasn’t around to translate. Def recommend this property

We had a great stay at Iberostar - the food was excellent and the service incredible by all staff , especially Lila gave us a fantastic service - the rooms were very nice , spacious and cleen. There are several pools and plenty of bars outside and inside

It was a long trip from Canada, but well worth the visit to Brazil. Beautiful grounds, pools, beach and Star Prestige beach club as well as Lounge. Special shout out to Wendel in Star Prestige that answered all our questions, handled our issues - Catch ya later! Robson in the lounge was our fav bartender (cachaca and coke - no no way!). Emilie and Roberta at the beach club kept the drinks coming and cappuccino / espresso on order! Janeson, our towel guy was awesome. All staff always greeted with a smile and friendly faces. The staff are welcoming, friendly and helpful. Language was an issue at times, but nothing insurmountable.

We had a great time here and thoroughly enjoyed the property. Rooms were a good size and comfortable, cleaned well daily. The property is well kept as people were always working on it. The buffet was good and we had most meals there but the restaurants were better and we wish we could have had more reservations than the limited number because they were not full ever with the exception of the hibachi. Really enjoyed the hamburgers at the food truck! The spa was an excellent experience and thoroughly enjoyed staying in the pools afterwards for some more peace and serenity, this was a real highlight. Communications was difficult with team members since we only speak English and limited Spanish. Most had difficulty communicating with us but we made it work. We did not do any excursions for this reason and we almost always do! Overall a great experience and beach was amazing!

This is a piece of paradise! Impecável ! Gastronomy and people! Location and all. Go and forget about it all! You will be taken care of! Camila and João greeted us at the reception so warmly advising me on all I needed for my family! My father and mom need a lot of assistance and I could not have done without Tarciana (guest services) who was thoughtful and went above and beyond with unmatched hospitality. I will never forget her warmth and kindness. Tarciana made a big difference for my parents’ well being. Jucilene and Dircilene (cleaning services) were fantastic tending to our family’s rooms. They also made towel dolls that were adorable and warmed our hearts. Raul (from the Dominican Rep) had the most beautiful contagious energy. We loved you ! Cleber (reception/ golf cart driver) was lovely so so sweet . Memorable and unforgettable
