Old hotel. Ice machine outside our room wakes up all of DC when used. Especially when a guy fills his giant cooler with ice at 5am.
Also, airport shuttle is only once per hour

Room seemed generally clean. Exception was a full-size ironing board that was stained & smelled. But did not need or use. Was going to mention to staff, but no stationary in room to do that & no one at reception when dropped off keys for check-out.
Construction of residential units all around hotel, but not in process during Fri & Sat of stay, so very quiet.
Disappointed that pool was under construction/renovation. However booked via ******* so can't Hampton for not mentioning.
Bed was comfortable so no real complaints for short stay.

Great for solo/ business travel
Nice, clean, spacious room. Solo traveler in town on business and booked the hotel as a budget option, so I was pleasantly surprised by the value. The downstairs lobby is updated and any staff I interacted with were gracious. None of the hot items included with the free breakfast are anything to write home about, but it’s definitely a perk to be able to grab a free coffee/ tea and toast yourself a bagel.

Let me start off first by saying that I do not ususally leave a review on anything but today I had to. The front desk clerk that helped me this morning was a true professional and I had to leave him a positive review. Prekimi is his name. This gentleman not only solved my issues w another nights stay but actually listened to my concerns and addressed them with great customer service. We also engaged in casual conversation and Prekimi was not judgmental nor negative and it led to this review. I trained customer service representatives for Verizon , American Express and EZ pass for 3 years so I know what good service is suppossed to look and feel like.
