This hotel is not in the same class as other 5 star hotels in the Marine and Lawn group. It sits on a busy and noisy Main Street. Lots of issues in the bedroom, eg. blinds that cannot be raised to take advantage of sea view. Curtains that do not close easily or fully. No mirror for hair drying apart from a small shaver style. Lack of shelving in shower room for toiletries etc. Breakfast was poor - Tiny portions of fruit in pre filled shot glass (barely one tablespoon) Yoghurt and granola presented the same way, tiny portion. Cheap pastries and no toast on offer. We had pancakes and fruit compote as our hot option and found this to be acceptable. Overall - Expensive room rate definitely not worth the price.

Genuinely, the best staff & treatment I’ve ever experienced! I’m very well travelled & don’t say this lightly. In particular, Joan at the front desk / reception was brilliant with me. She was so helpful & kind. Went well above & beyond to ensure I was taken care of during my stay. I love to see someone care so much & put in such effort & passion into their role. Location of the hotel is ideally situated on the Main Street in the town. Everywhere is a short walk away. Was my first time in Portrush but after having such a fantastic experience, I’m planning to return soon & won’t be looking anywhere else than the Adelphi! Thanks again ALL 🙏🏼😊

Horrible place. The phone number is wrong on travel sites, it's has not been updated in 2 years. They expect to call them but you can't get hold of them to let them know you will be arriving late. So I was stranded in middle of night, with no where to go. They won't refund my money either eventhough their number is wrong. Also Google map puts you in neighboring town, which has happened many time since they lady was the wrong address said this has happened before. Stay at normal hotel and save yourself the aggravation. I believe the bad reviews and I think most of good reviews are fake.

We called in for a drink around 9.30 last night and it was dead. The table beside us had two empty glasses on it, they were still there when we left. The only other people at a table left soon after we arrived and it had loads of empty glasses on it, the next people who came in had to ask someone to lift the glasses. This seemed to be a hassle for the staff. The place was freezing too. It’s not right for a place that’s so expensive. I would give it a miss in future

My sister and went here for lunch this week. Quite an awful experience. We both had ordered the sirloin sandwich , chips and garlic bread. When it arrived I didn’t get any waitress make a mistake. The chips were half cold, the garlic bread was so hard that you could have broken a tooth, the sourdough with the steak was so hard the knife wouldn’t even cut it. The steak which was asked to be well done was pink in the middle. We had to send the whole lot back. We paid for our 2 coke but that was the height of it. So very very disappointed . We went across the road and got a beautiful sausage roll.it was lovely.

Overall, we enjoyed our stay - the food was absolutely stunning - but we felt it was important to flag that the front desk service didn’t quite meet the high standard of the rest of the experience. A little extra training here would really bring the guest experience up to the level of the hotel’s otherwise excellent offering.

We are a family with a son with a severe dairy allergy. Hotel staff couldn't have looked after us any better. Right from time of booking, Michelle on reception reassured us that the kitchen could accommodate us and alerted all staff about the allergy. Restaurant staff were all aware, accommodating and reassuring. Head chef Stephen spoke to us in person and a safe and delicious dairy free dinner was prepared for our son. Breakfast chef Monica next morning was the same. First class.
