Marcus Hotel Portrush, Tapestry Collection by Hilton

I had been looking forward for an excuse to try the new Hilton affiliated hotel in Portrush since it opened during the summer. As a Hilton diamond member for more than 10 years, I’m lucky to experience Hilton hotels very regularly across the world, but my goodness what a pleasure it was to stay here for a night while meeting friends for a few drinks. Remembering what was there before, arriving into the reception area was like entering a different planet! Check in was seamless, and my diamond status was recognised with an upgrade to a deluxe room, and when I arrived in my beautifully appointed room, there was a lovely bottle of Merlot to greet me! Thank you! The room was comfortable and clean. The bathroom was stunning with high end fittings. One of the reasons I stay with Hilton is their mattresses and pillows - the best ever, and no different here. Before hitting the town I had a pint of Guinness in the heritage cocktail bar - very comfortable bar, great service, a nice pint! I also enjoyed a cocktail at the of the night, again high end service! The highlight of the stay was breakfast! Such a lovely room, but where was the buffet?! There wasn’t one.. there was an al a carte menu! Wow! Game changer! My full Irish was fab, and both the host and chef were friendly and charming! Looks like I’ll have a need to be in Portrush a few times more this year, but no longer a hardship now the Marcus has arrived!

I had a fantastic experience at The Marcus! We went for dinner & the food was incredibly fresh and full of flavor—every dish was thoughtfully prepared and beautifully presented. The cocktails were equally impressive—creative, well-balanced, and absolutely delicious. The staff were friendly, attentive, and made the entire visit even more enjoyable. Highly recommend for a great dining experience!

A new hotel situated right in the middle of Portrush. Bedroom and public areas are beautifully decorated and very comfortable. We were once staying one night so did not have much interaction with staff but those we did were very pleasant and helpful. Would recommend a stay for a relaxing experience and hope to return.

Just back from a 2 night break here and it was perfect. Check in on line was easy the day before we arrived. Rooms are cosy, not massive, but bed very comfy with massive TV in front of it. Bathroom is good and the shower is amazing, really powerful and warm. Dinner in the restaurant was great, breakfast quick and tasty and cocktail in the bar were great. Special shout out to Rup who served breakfast both mornings. The nicest and friendliest waitress we've ever had..anywhere. Location is great. Well be back!

We 'happened' upon this hotel, by chance, even though I am a Hilton Honors Member. Weren't we lucky. It has a fantastic situation on the Main Street near all the amenities. that brings the only negative, no parking. That stated, it is the same for all town Centre Hotels. There is all day, free parking within 200 metres. Upon entry we were greeted with a fantastic, bold colour scheme, definitely boutique. the hotel has only opened in June, so it is really fresh. Our room was well appointed with all you could need, including a fridge. There is a super bar, great for people watching. Two things stand out. ONE- the Staff is excellent. well-trained, so warm, so friendly; nothing is too much trouble. TWO- Nemesis, the in-hotel, Asian Fusion Restaurant, is superb. a really popular venue with Locals and Guests alike. I wish Management every success for this venture. They have certainly invested heavily in the local economy. I would recommend a visit highly, without reservation.

We stayed at The Marcus Portrush for one night and it was a really great experience. The rooms were lovely, clean and warm. The bed was very comfortable and the bathroom was amazing, with a first class shower. We also enjoyed a very good breakfast in the hotel‘s restaurant. Special thanks to Rup who was our lovely and super sweet waitress at breakfast and to Austeja, who gave us a perfect welcome at the reception and helped us out with a lot of interesting tips.
