THB Felip - Adults Only

The hotel is near one of the must-do tourist spots (Drach Caves) so in terms of walking distance to the place this hotel is great. Also close to the beach, restaurants and shops, very convenient in the west coast. Lobby is spacious and cool. There are free drinks at the bar as a welcome gift. The hotel has a gym, a swimming pool and a massage salon, very well equipped. Room is spacious and comfortable. The only shame is the booking site shows only beautiful seaview rooms but my room doesn’t have any view (face the wall of another building). Overall still a good experience.

What a delightful adult only hotel situated across the road from the beach and harbour. My Sister and I had a sea view room with balcony that was wonderful. The room was comfortable as were the beds. Tea/coffee/kettle provided. Fridge (not minibar thankfully). Good blackout curtains. Bathroom was clean but in need of a little TLC although nothing major. Hairdryer in the bathroom. Balcony had a table and two chairs. They don't want you to hang your towels over the balcony railings as it ruins the look at the front of the hotel, which is fair so we just laid them over the chairs. The main area on the ground floor is beautiful. Lovely furniture and decor reminiscent of the 1930's but all modern. Very elegant. Open terrace at the front where you eat breakfast. We used the spa once and it was good. There is not a full Hamman. The turkish bath is the steam room. There is also a sauna and small indoor pool. All very lovely. The food served was delicious. Breakfast was buffet style with the option to have eggs cooked to order. Good variety of food served to cater for what was mostly British and German tourists. Bottles of Cava on ice for breakfast was a novelty and very enjoyable We ate dinner in the hotel for one night only during our stay. It was a buffet with an enormous selection of food and at 18 euros each was very good value. The food was very good. The only reason we didn't eat there more often was that we wanted to try the other restaurants in Porto Cristo. I had been to Mallorca twice before (1984 and 1992) and stayed at 'resorts' and they tarnished my view of the island. Porto Cristo is a gem of a place. It is so clean and quite quiet. No big hotels, nightclubs etc. The small beach is clean with sun beds for hire. We also went on organised day excursion to Palma and Valldemossa which was a great way to see other parts of the island. There are also plenty of buses so we took on to Manacor and spent a day there. Beautiful architecture everywhere when you get away from the 'resorts'. Would highly recommend THB Felip. Their staff without exception were friendly and very helpful.
