Great quality rooms, very comfortable. I stayed for a business meeting and one nights accommodation. The food was great and top class service. The room were well equiped and quiet so a well needed good nights sleep was assured. I would be happy to recommend to anyone looking for a hotel for work or a getaway. Reasonably priced too.

Check in at the hotel was easy and greeted by a lovely member of staff. Hotel lobby was clean, spacious and a nice atmosphere. Room was clean, big and perfect for an overnight stay. We had dinner in the bar booked for 18:00 and when my brother and his wife went to the bar for drinks, they sat down with their drinks and a bar staff member told them they had to move by 17:30. When they moved again they realised that every seat was booked and would have to move. They told the girl we had a booking for 18:00 but she told them it was in the restaurant but when we looked into the booking it was for the bar. They finished their drinks and left. Bar staff not so friendly but the girl serving our dinner was nice and good at her job. Lovely hotel, fine room, clean and good food but bar staff definitely let the hotel down. Would stay again.

Stayed here as a family with young kids - rooms were great but went for dinner. Service was terrible, sat down at 5:15 and left after 8. Took 50 mins to bring three desserts. We’re sat in a dark corner with broken lights and when asked to turn up lighting it was turned down again after 2 minutes. Servers hanging around the bar even after we got up and approached them to take our order. Booked table under room number so when no one brought us the bill for 10 minutes we left presuming it would be added to our bill. The restaurant called our room at 10:30pm that night to pay - which woke our young kids. Will not be returning and will tell others to avoid.

Went for dinner with family and got seated took 20 minutes to take our order as some staff members were congregating behind the bar , we finally got our order taken the food was scandlas (frozen) and we waited over 30 minutes, a group of people beside us were giving out about the wait it took to get order taken and left

I enjoyed a weekend away with fellow widows and widowers-the food was gorgeous-the rooms so comfortable-the cakes in the front coffee shop are simply divine!!!& the laid back atmosphere really suited our group-staff were helpful and unobtrusive-didn’t really enjoy the music in the bar but that’s probably just personal taste as he was a very good singer-gatecrashed (invited!😂)a party with DJ though which was great fun!

Very nice hotel. The room was clean and beds comfortable. The breakfast was good and you had a choice between a continental buffet or ordering something off the menu. Service was very good. The only issue for travelers is location since there is nothing close by. If you have a car, I would highly recommend this hotel.

I had a enjoyable stay at your hotel the staff were very friendly and so helpful. The dinner was excellent and we had a great evening with the live entertainment my and my friends 26 of us in total had such a great time we said we will definitely be going back again to stay here

Both myself & husband love this hotel. The room is always spotless, & so comfortable. We invited our son & wife over for a meal which was served in the Cedar Bar really enjoyable. The breakfast is faultless. The staff always friendly, we just love staying here.

The staff were friendly, especially those in the leisure centre. The furniture in the bar area is outdated and the seating is tattered. We had a meal which was OK, except for the chowder which had very little fish in it. It was very average. We also requested a bottle of wine. There was no wine list available, which was disappointing. The bedroom was a good size and the bed was very comfortable. The room was clean but could do with a little maintenance. The tap was very noisy. The toilet seat squeaked when it was lifted. Overall we enjoyed our stay.
