The Hotel great service and great staff , the staff and front office to understand and monitor what type of guest either business, pleasure etc...Also priorizing the customers need wants and not to turn away customers whom are there for good cause in helping our country . The hotel clean and nice and needs monitoring of poolside use for the guest in house only and family kids not the public . Staff and supervisor agu in front customers in pool side restaurant it's bad .Solve your problems quietly not for customers to hear or know .

We went to the hotel to check in but the room type we selected was fully booked, the receptionist was very nice, she upgraded our room for free to their apartment suite. The apartment had three rooms, WiFi, a large living room and kitchen, it was very comfortable. Appreciate the friendly staff and great amenities. There is also several restaurants there, bars by the poolside and very close to the airport, museum, Parliament House and golf club.

Was Good, But not really that good, the air con wasnt working very well and the telephone didn’t work at all making it quite difficult to call for room service.

First impression overall was my search for indoor elavators. As I am a plus size woman and had returned from a remote place therefore me returning to the city I expect the best night out to spend with family. I already got irritated walking and climbing up stairs just to get to our room. Also the air conditioning in the rooms are cool enough, something I think the management must look into and upgrade. The located is ideal as is it situated just close to the Jackson's International Airport but needs upgrading. All in all our stay was smooth despite, great complimentary breakfast though.

Wonderful stay at gateway. Cheaper rate compared to other hotels in Port Moresby.

When I checked in the Gateway hotel, the reception staff told me that my name wasn't registered. I was asked to sit and wait more than 40 minutes.

Good service.

Avoid the hotel if you can. Bring your own shampoo and conditioner. They have non-shampoo and conditioner as a hotel policy. Even if you go to the front desk and ask, they don't help you because they don't have shampoo and conditioner. They just give a bar of soap and one towel. the bathtub had mold The room air condition was really noisy. the hotel has stairs to access the lobby and the second floor. I didn't see any elevator to get to the second floor. Nobody helps you with the luggage. The good thing, the hotel has a shuttle to airport.

Was ok

I had no particular problems! However, I was a little bothered by the fact that I could hear the voices outside and the Wi-Fi was often slow or lost connection.
