It’s a very old hotel but everything is nice and clean! The staffs are nice and foods are great! It located at a cute port with a little beach where you can see crabs and fish. We even saw a sea otter! Super cute, My daughter loves it! The bed is too soft for me but my daughter got good sleeps there tho.

The Resort at Port Ludlow is a fantastic place to use as a base to explore the Peninsula or to have a fomantic getaway where you can re-explore your friendships or relationships. Great food and wine in the restuarant. Doggy friendly. The place is historic , so no glitzy glass facades. It has a mellow laid back historic charm. Be prepared to enjoy the weather that the Peninsula can provide. If inclement button up and enjoy it. Shopping in Port Townsend or Sequim is a drive away. Finaly the service is great!

Stayed one night in order to visit friends in Chimakum and Port Townsend. Room was a nice size, and "mostly" clean. Our room had a balcony and it was a beautiful view of the marina and a nice place to see the sunset, but because the neighboring room also did the same, it did not feel as private since we chose to leave the deck door open (the weather was quite hot and the breeze was needed) we felt that we needed to speak in hushed tones to not be overheard or disturb our room neighbors and just did not feel as "at home" in the room. In the colder months, perhaps this wouldn't be an issue. The jacuzzi tub looked inviting, until it didn't . There was a long dark hair on the corner and a small curly hair near the drain, in addition to some brown goopy stuff near where the faucet would drip down. Everything else in the room was clean, the California King bed was comfortable, although the pillows were not, but that's a personal preference, of course. The shower had great water pressure and the front desk staff was lovely and welcoming. The complimentary morning coffee at the front desk was hot and better than the bags in the room. We appreciated the room fridge, but the wifi is spotty and there are no charging ports for phone or computer and I did not bring my outlet adapter.

Nice place. Great location. Be aware there is no AC. We only stayed on night and planned for three. Our room was on the marina side and directly above a public gathering area and walkway. This location provided no breeze and conversation noise from below with the windows open. The manager was unavailable and later would not provide a refund.

Nice atmosphere but no AC in the room was surprising. Open the window for room cooling? Really? $365 per night. The restaurant food was just average. The beds were comfortable, TV was small. Service was very good. The views toward the marina were beautiful!

The rooms and property were immaculate. The Fireside restaurant was New York quality culinary excellence and the service was fantastic. We loved the local soap, lotion bar and bath crystals. The grounds and trails were lovely, quiet, and peaceful. Port Ludlow Resort is an easy drive from Port Townshend, Port Gamble, and other nearby attractions. We would 10/10 stay at Port Ludlow resort again in the future.

I stayed one week at this resort. In general I would say it was a very positive experience. I selected it primarily because of its central location that allowed exploring areas to the south and north and further west. The view of the marina and harbor from the room was wonderful. The food at the Fireside restaurant at the resort was consistently excellent. The front desk recommendation to make reservations for the restaurant was good advice. The only negatives I would comment on would be the inconsistency of the housekeeping staff in cleaning the room and the lobby coffee available in the mornings is very weak.
