It was awful. The manager was rude and tried to charge me $10 because I got locked out of my room during the day the place had bedbugs and I’m still waiting for a refund. They’re refusing to respond to Priceline email regarding my refund after they told me I would receive a refund if I checked out absolutely disgusting. I don’t understand how they have a rate is so high. It’s rundown. It’s old. It’s smelly I wouldn’t stay

Noisy
I would not recommend this place for family stay or weekend if you want t have a restful night. We were assigned two rooms across from the pool which is right outside the door. That evening there were several men drinking and listening to music, very loud. We called the front desk about the loud music, and we were told that there is nothing they can do. The next morning at checkout, I talked to the manage about the loud music and their inactions to resolve the issue. He informed me that the guys drinking and listening to loud music were workers that were staying at the hotel and that that was the only day they can relax because they work all week, Not the answer I expected.

My wife and I needed to travel to Port Isabel unexpectedly for a funeral. We needed an inexpensive place to stay and the Casa Rosa provided that. The manager was very friendly and accommodating. The room was clean but smelled musty. The air conditioner kept the room cool but could not pull the moisture out of the air. If they could get rid of the musty smell and the mugginess, I would give the motel a higher rating.

Bath tub and shower curtain were dirty. Bath tub and shower were detached or cracked. Sink needs to be replaced.
I liked that they were able accommodate our early arrival.
I liked that room didn't smell, beds were comfy tv and entertainment center was nice.

No one available through out the night had to wait for about 45 minutes outside unable to get in our room. Key wasn’t working.

Not a fancy property but has clean facilities, hot showers and nice bed. Everything you would need for a nice stay close to island.

Not sure it’s even worth the price, although if you want cheap, it’s cheap. At first glance, looks relatively decent. However, upon closer inspection it’s not good at all. There was a huge hole in the wall by the bathroom mirror. Had to plug it with a towel, bathtub was in desperate need of repair. It was soft and I felt as though it could break at any moment when showering. They had painted the tub itself to cover up how bad it was. The pint was pealing and the tub had standing water in the bottom. The tiles on the floor in the bathroom were cracked and broken. No less than a dozen cockroaches seen. Air conditioning unit was so loud it woke us up everytime it turned on throughout the night. Blankets very scratchy. While I didn’t see any bed bugs, my daughter and I both walked away with bug bites all over us. Much needs to change in order for a better review to even be considered for this place.
